lol, man could have been in on net clean and decided drag his foot into the defender and dive, might get rewarded by VAR.

Edit- VAR gets it right,

Yeah we get it.. West Ham is very disciplined in how they're playing 8-11 defenders in the box.

Edit: every other comment is about how beautiful this parked bus is..

I didn't see the one today, but Kulu dragged Onana the depth of the six-yard box.

With the handball yesterday, Everton have been assessed 5 pens this year and been awarded 0. Only team in the Prem not to take at least one penalty.

Since Everton lost to Luton on September 30, Everton are 8W 1D 4L in the league. The four losses are to Liverpool, Spurs, United, and City. There was at least one dubious penalty or call against Everton in each.

Other Toffees fans sometimes annoy me with the conspiracy theories of how the league hates us and favors the big boys, but man it would be nice if they didn't keep getting fodder.

Maybe it was hard to see who was who.. since he's wearing a mask.

edit: I'm right there with you on trying to figure out why some plays are calls and some aren't.. especially when VAR gets involved. There it all seems to be about who the crew is any given day.

I wonder how American Express has naming rights in the south coast of England and yet unseen here in the Americas. Is Brighton an untapped market for Amex that Discover, Chase, Visa/Mastercaard don't want?
I believe Brighton is where the Amex UK headquarters is.

This page is just nothing but people complaining about how the refs screwed them. The absolute bottom-rung of sports conversation.

Are we sure Onana isn't....Bartolo Colon in Merseyside?

Interesting, I think a number of international corporates have UK offices in Brighton. They must be the "suburban" office from city centres like Burlington/Waltham to Boston, NoVA/Rockville to DC, White Plans to NYC etc etc. I don't see Barclays buying naming rights to a team on Long Island.....

You know what's definitely not better than complaining about refs? Posts like yours.

Edit: Especially since the posts were mainly about games that were happening and talking about pretty key moments in those games that just happen to be about in game decisions that were pretty impactful..

As dumb as this might seem, the one against Everton was on a corner I believe. Refs let that go all the time for every team.

Today’s was on open play in the box and stopped a scoring opportunity.

Those two situations have always been reffed differently.

I’d also add this is every team and every fan base ever and it’s because the refs are inconsistent game-to-game giving everyone fodder.

For example here’s one about a challenge that wasn’t even looked at from Brighton Spurs compared to the straight red Romero got for a less egregious challenge earlier this season:

Every fan base thinks the refs are against them, and honestly I think VAR has made it worse instead of better in the PL at least. Easier to deal with inconsistency when it’s in real time on the pitch vs. the complete randomness that seems to be VAR at this point.

Too lazy to start a new one.

Ross Barkley’s role at Luton is fascinating. He’s their talisman and loving it. The confidence is going off my TV.

There was always talent there. He’s been a deeply stupid human being. If this is his rebirth I’m 100% here for it.

Many Everton fans despise him because they think he quit on us. My feelings don’tgo any further than not wanting him back, even if he finds form again. Too toxic. But if he resurrects himself at LutonTown, of all places, good for him.

Even though he was only with Everton for a short time before he got hurt, I love Andros Townsend.

Ohhhhh Luton. Beautifully worked for a tap in but the striker was a step too slow.

Cole Palmer has to be Top 3 goofiest looking dudes in the EPL if not the outright winner.
I was observing that his torso is not quite wide enough for the numbers on his back. Defo looks more like the drama club kid than the homecoming king. But he’s got skills. Keeping his feet and gathering that ball once he got past the keeper,, in traffic- not easy.

Adebayo has a thunder strike taken off the board- offside. Too bad, it was a screamer

Trying to explain to my 8 year old how Chelsea are cheaters. Amortization is a difficult concept for third graders.

Luton could, really should, be level. Two off the crossbar, one waved off, a tap in flubbed.

And now it’s 3-2 at 86’. This little park is bedlam. They could get something.

I was just typing a post saying the same as they score. I’ve only seen the 2nd half but they seem to be flying and not a lot of luck. What a fun new team

Luton really playing hard to the end. Even when down 0-3. And now 2-3.

(And to their credit, the announcers did say before the half that Chelsea's troubles were especially troublesome in the 2nd halves this year.
