Turner with some nice saves down the stretch to secure all three points.

How hot is ETH’s seat right now?

He's got to be gone. They can't be losing to Forest.

Tim Howard put it well today - they have enough quality on the pitch for individual players to rescue goals and points with moments of brilliance, but there is no fluidity to the way they play, no readily apparent scheme or plan. Maybe any manager would struggle to get a tune out of this expensively assembled muddle, but it's not ETH.

I yelled at an 8 year old for making a better version of Neto’s pass yesterday. How does that happen at this level?

Holy crap--Betancur back a month early. And with Sarr/Bissouma leaving it's needed.

And then he's involved in Sarr's goal.

Announcer laughing at Richarlison for "protecting his head before the ball arrives."

Well yes. If you do it afterwards it's too late.

Sarr off because Spurs haven’t had enough injuries yet.

Feel terrible for the guy, looks like he was devastated, probably thinking about AFCON.

Arsenal is playing bad right now, can't really do much right at all. They'd better get their shit together soon before it's too late.

An absolute monsoon at Craven Cottage right now. Going to be hard to sustain a build up here, might need to go route 1.

Newcastle’s midfielders and their antics annoy me when they’re playing against teams I don’t like. This is going to be a long match.

That was a terrible PK.
All of the football has been poor here at the end of the “festive” period. These players’ calves, hamstrings, and quads are unresponsive sludge. I will watch whatever’s on but it’s just dumb to send some of the worlds greatest athletes on a death match like this.

I didn’t see the PK, so do t know if my theory of fatigue is justified here, and even the best will miss the odd one, but I’m comfortable asserting that the football this GW has been meh.

That was an absolutely hilarious last 15 minutes or so for Anthony Taylor.
Wouldn't it be nice to get through a game without the referee being the main talking point? One can dream.

Breathless half - tons of chances - Diaz has been great, Schoboslai very poor - and Salah missed a penalty.
To top it off the announcer on my (and I assume the world) feed is Martin Tyler

I don’t even know what Klopp can do. Jota clearly for Darwin or (more likely) Diaz. Elliott for Szobo needs to happen, too,

Salah’s legs are going to fall off in Africa.
