Kershaw following up his perfect game pretty well.  So far, 8 shutout innings, 6 hits, 1 walk, 8 k's.  108 pitches through 8, and they have a 1-0 lead.  Curious to see if they let him finish.  Anyone know how many pitchers have followed up a no-hitter with another complete game shutout (besides Van derMeer or however you spell it).

Very long bottom seventh of the inning -- 24 minutes and 10 seconds. Now into the 8th, 90 pitches in with a 1-2 count. One down in the eighth now.

Two down now, 96 pitches.

Amarista up, had a good at-bat earlier this game, a lineout to Hunter Pence... not this time!! First pitch swinging, fly out to center field. And the crowd goes NUTS.

Ha, Krukow talks about Lincecum's long half inning not on the mound a'la Orsillo. Tim even had his second hit of the day, was on the bases a while, and came around to score. But, he's the freak!

As GG said...

2 out in the 8th.

Well, he's back in the dugout now. But he's been on base a lot today, so maybe not a bad thing.

Super Mario is out. Thanks for the rest, Pads!

He got away with his one big mistake to the last batter, and that was it. Padres both times, right?

That's incredible. Some would say that's not even possible.
Actually, I take it back, he only got 27 outs in a row. And Montreal did win, but he was yanked after the leadoff hit in the 10th.

Why did he walk off? Is he a gremlin?
Ha ha ha ha ha ha. That made me laugh out loud. I suspect because it's sort of a cold day today (Karl the Fog ate San Francisco) and it looked like the Powerade/Gatorade was ice-cold. (I saw some ice, I am not saying that because it was blue.)

I'm very happy right now.

A few pics of Big Time Timmy Jim from the post-game clubhouse interview. As taken by me off my television, so the quality is sublime:

Wow. I missed this on a flight from SFO to LAX. No wonder fans were gathered around the tv at the United terminal. Congrats GG and Lars. And good for Lincecum - even with his diminished stuff he is fun to watch.
