Last team to have back to back no-nos? Ever?

I think the MLBN bottom line said it hasn't been done.

Johnny Vander Meer pitched two straight himself for the same team (1938 Reds).

EDIT - Never mind. I'm an idiot.

It'd be a pretty substantial nut punch if LA lost this game.
I don't understand how they can keep running Wilson out there in tight games.

Over in the 7th. Lincecum allowed no hits through 5, Kontos got 4 outs, but Affeldt walked a batter then gave up a single.

astride the divide
Miguel Gonzalez of the Baltimore Elite Giants has something cookin' through 5 against the Houston Eagles. Only 62 pitches so far, 1 walk, just 1 K.

Edit: And it promptly ends in the 6th on an infield single by Altuve. Replay shows he may have been out, but the Eagles don't challenge. So much for that.

RT @HeardOnMLBT: "I think he did him a favor." - Harold Reynolds, on Hanley Ramirez ending Kershaw's perfect game with an error

How is this man still employed?

For those not watching, ESPN has started carrying the top of the innings live. They'll come back for the 9th.
