Non-contact injury for Mankins that happened when he was cheap shotting a player after the play.
They should move the Labor Day holiday day off to the Monday the day after the NFL season opens.
I mean, Romo had absolutely no business making that throw. Bryant was running directly into a double and triple coverage situation.

Why would Rivera challenge that play? Not only is the challenge going to fail, it's a 5 yard swing, at most. Poor decision.
Stupid, stupid challenge by Carolina. Even in the unlikely event that this call gets overturned, all it means is it would be 2nd and 10 instead of 2nd and 6. Not worth using a challenge for.

The 'illegal contact' point of enforcement has backfired on day 1---both games I watched had a horrible, arbitrary call for touch contact, but plenty of others that weren't called. I get the intent of the enforcement, but they are way short of the consistency that makes it anything but an arbitrary event right now.

Brady didn't play great but he was nowhere near as bad as Romo today. The entire Dallas offense is talented and Romo is sucking. If Brady was playing QB in Dallas right now they would be killing the 49ers.
