Here
I mean, come on. First down, wide open holds it, then forces one in for an INT.

Just keep chucking it up there Tony. With 3 INTs in one half, Mike Maartz is smiling someplace.

It's ok buddy. We all know turnovers are random.

I mean, Romo had absolutely no business making that throw.  Bryant was running directly into a double and triple coverage situation.

It's a shame because Dallas is actually playing a decent game. Surprisingly well on defense. Yet down 21 to 3

They should move the Labor Day holiday day off to the Monday the day after the NFL season opens.

The NFL has kicked off a few times on Labor Day weekend and the ratings were abysmal. If there is one thing the NFL hates more than domestic violence, it's abysmal ratings. You will never see the NFL play on Labor Day weekend ever again.

Why would Rivera challenge that play? Not only is the challenge going to fail, it's a 5 yard swing, at most. Poor decision.

Stupid, stupid challenge by Carolina.  Even in the unlikely event that this call gets overturned, all it means is it would be 2nd and 10 instead of 2nd and 6.  Not worth using a challenge for.

edit:  And it's an important 2nd half timeout that you're giving up with 10+ mins in the 3rd quarter.  And now you can only challenge one play the rest of the game.  Idiotic.

Anyone know what happened to Doug Martin?  Just saw him walking to the locker room, but didn't see what led to it.

Fuck.

Really? No shit. I figured end of summer BBQ and football on TV would go together nicely. Plus drink all ya want and don't worry about work on Monday. Go figure.

Kaepernick looks really really polished this afternoon.  His passes are crisp and accurate and he's making good decisions overall.

Edit: And he promptly gets hit while throwing and throws a pick.

Ruled incomplete as the DB didn't control it going to the ground.  And Harbaugh is still making a scene on the sideline when the call goes his way.  What a moron.

The 'illegal contact' point of enforcement has backfired on day 1---both games I watched had a horrible, arbitrary call for touch contact, but plenty of others that weren't called.    I get the intent of the enforcement, but they are way short of the consistency that makes it anything but an arbitrary event right now.

Make that two in the SF game

Brady didn't play great but he was nowhere near as bad as Romo today. The entire Dallas offense is talented and Romo is sucking. If Brady was playing QB in Dallas right now they would be killing the 49ers.

When did Tony Romo turn into Rex Grossman?  He's just throwing the ball as far as he can and hoping something happens (which isn't always a bad idea in today's NFL... Flacco has made a career out of it).

Romo never ever gives up and takes a beating I'll give him that. But if he had taken care of the ball, the Cowboys would be in this game.

So many fucking flags in this SF-DAL game.

Brandon Lloyd gets wrapped up by the DB and they call Lloyd for OPI.  This league fucking sucks.

What a horrible call on Lloyd there---Claiborne grabbed him and they called Lloyd.

This crew has been brutal all game long.

Couldn't really be more surprised at the Dallas D; they've been good enough to win this game, but Romo is just pure watery shit.  Old, still dumb, major surgery, and a huge contract to boot.

It was awful. And Harbaugh's reaction was predictably over the top.

You won't be seeing that call tonight. Guaranteed.

Agreed.  They made key adjustments at half and have really shut down the SF attack.

That guy ESPN had last year who tried to defend to no-call in the Pats-Carolina game is the only one who might.
