Despite being a guard for most of college Sow was drafted to play tackle and has played at tackle basically all of pre season. In their minds they drafted two interior guys and a right tackle.Well they signed Anderson and Reiff. Anderson has been out on NFI until recently, Reiff has at least been good at guard thus far.
I have no idea if Jones is any good, but drafting 3 interior guys does seem a little off. Pretty hard to tell if these were good decisions or not until we start seeing the starters play real football.
The Dawand Jones thing is kind of stupid. maybe he’ll be good but he was a mid fourth round pick-it’s not like hes an obvious sure thing. He’s not starting in Cleveland although they have Conklin. Edit: Baldy is saying he’s playing really well so maybe Lazar is right that we should have gotten him, but it’s not an obvious solution to the Pats issues-can’t count on a fourth round tackle to be decent as a rookie
Maybe Andre Dillard would have been the solution. Then again 9 starts in four nfl seasons suggests maybe not. Dollars was expensive and apparently was struggling badly early In camp.
