I listened to these two imbeciles yesterday for about 5 minutes, Felger was yammering about how not keeping Brady in retrospect was a "huge mistake" and they would have been better off keeping him, they could have "maybe" still drafted Jones, or Mills later on and there is your QB of the future.
I mean, Brady did take the 2017 and 2011 defenses to the Super Bowl and they were much worse than this version by every metric.

I'll defer to salary cap experts, but if Brady had stayed, what would the roster have looked like in 2020 and how many free agents would they have been able to sign in 2021?
That wasn't even my point, all I'm saying is the 2021 defense was a lot better than some other defenses Brady had with the Patriots. It's not like they were necessarily destined to get destroyed by the Bills in the playoffs in that exact same manner in any other scenario, so there's a chance he could have "overcome" them.
