  • Honestly, it went well. I liked my instructor, Mike, quite a bit. He gave some feedback on some setup and positioning issues that were out of whack. I asked if we could work on the driver another time he said it would be OK. The range has a 250 sign with space behind it and he said that if we go to the back corner then it won't be a problem. I'm going to stick with with it for more sessions.

I'm glad you had a better experience then I did. Sounds like they expanded it since I took my lessons, which was good. My biggest problem was it felt like Bob tried to change everything I was doing instead of a couple of tweeks, which made everything fall apart and become unenjoyable. Plus I did it as part of a Groupon, so I bet they were overwhelmed. Good luck with the rest of your lessons.
Thanks for the feedback. Bob is seemingly still the director. I'm pretty disappointed to know that I won't be able to work on the driver there.
I am going to go through with it tonight, but let them know that I only want to pay for one lesson and not a package. If I'm happy with the instruction I'll consider going back for more, but I'm already doubting it due to the length of the range.
Hi, Id love to hear about your experiencing at Triggs. I'm only going to pay for a 1 hour lesson and not buy the package unless I like the guy. I am scheduled with Mike Ryan, he is the assistant pro. I did check and he is a PGA professional, so I felt OK about that. But I'd appreciate any first hand feedback.
There is a serious lack of online golf pro reviews.

Sorry for the wait. If I remember back to 2012, I worked with Bob, the director, so I'm not sure how my experience will transfer to yours. One issue with the place is because of the size of the driving range you can only work on irons.
