Tickets for Miami/Pittsburgh are down to $39 on StubHub. Wind chills around -5 degrees.
It's about 5 degrees before wind chill in Green Bay and I'll be there making sure Eli loses.

Yeah it's gonna be cold, but on the plus side -- plenty of room to hide nips of fireball to keep you warm with all the layers.

Just hoping for a couple of watchable games today before I have to haul my ass back and forth to work for the next five days. Is that too much to ask, NFL?

Pittsburgh.

I want the Pats to play Houston next week and Pittsburgh and KC to have to play each other to come to Gillette.

I think that this is what I want, too. But the thought of Houston somehow pulling one out in KC is alluring.

I guess what I was really asking is whether you'd rather see the Patriots host the Chiefs or the Steelers in the AFC Championship Game. I assume New England will have few problems with Miami or Houston, so the question is whether you'd rather more or less lock in the Chiefs, or whether you'd prefer a shot at the Steelers instead.

I'd rather play the Chiefs. Steelers can do the two things that worry me most as a Pats fan--pressure Brady and put up points. They have flaws, but I'd rather take my chances with KC who has a pretty weak offense especially if (as I'd expect) Pats decide to take Hill out of the game.

Pretty much all of the analysis I've heard is: it's cold. Miami can't possibly cope with the cold and wind. Pittsburgh is completely immune and will be unphased in any way. Dynamic analysis.

I *guess* I'm rooting for Pittsburgh to bring Brock to NE next week, but I'm not going to be too upset either way. Pittsburgh is better, and the better teams losing always helps.

Probably be one of those games where I will just find myself rooting for a team without realizing it.

Weekend continues to unfold as expected. The first game is the one for doing chores and errands.
