This is the first time I've read a MMQB column cover to cover in over a year. I thought that overall, PK presented a very even-handed summary of some of the biggest flaws with both the way the referees operated on game day of the AFC championship and also with the conclusions made by the Wells report based on the available evidence. Though he doesn't take a hard stance either way, I think these are some of the strongest anti-report comments so far by a signature, national voice that go beyond "it's not even a big deal, why are we talking about this?" He may have his ulterior motives and it may mean dick-all when it comes to punishment time, but I'm glad he put this out there for his audience to read.
