Losing half a quarter to the browns and ravens. Clearly the NFL is marketing towards awful football.

EDIT: Probably helps the fans of most teams feel better about their own crappy team.

Welcome to America, where your access to the Premier League is cheaper, more comprehensive, and more rationally-planned than your access to the NFL!
Eh, not sure if that's true. You can watch all 16 of your local team's games and 10 of 11 playoff games for free with a coat hanger antenna. If you're watching a team on the other coast, then it's another issue. The Premier League will run you a cable/internet subscription of at least $80/month to stream all of a single team's games.

Yeah, true.  But for those of us with cable (if increasingly thinking about cord-cutting) and not living in our team's local market, the difference is enraging.  (While my son can watch his favorite EPL team any time they play, despite living 3500 miles away.)

I wasn't totally paying attention, but I think that was Demarcus Ware getting carted to the locker room in Oakland.

edit: it was.  back injury, questionable to return.

Stafford making up for last week's pickless game.
Detroit now with 4 turnovers on 6 possessions. Would have had 5 but Arizona recovered a fumble after their player touched it while he was out of bounds, so it went back to the Lions.

Oh, and they gave up a 99 yard TD drive thanks to 2 plays of 40+ yards.

In other words, Detroit being Detroit.

Fucking gronk man, Jesus.
Classic Jerrah-era Cowboys to have the guy who tackled him after a 30-yard gain getting up and jawing at him.

Stafford is benched with 4 minutes to go in the third. Wow, he has been that bad this year but it's shocking.

Love the FG in the 4th quarter of a 35-7 game.

The pick-six in the Oakland game.

The Raiders have been the better team, but that miscue and two missed FGs are going to cost them.

Mike Carey says overrule, so I guess the call will stand.

Derek Carr sucks. I just don't see it with him.
The Broncos have the best defense east of the Rockies. You can't judge Carr by today's results.

That said, he's got the weapons this year, so no excuses.

I have correctly predicted the outcome of two games today. The main reasons I still watch football are fantasy and betting. Half of my reasons are pretty much gone.

The Denver line ended up at 5. That FG didn't matter.
Yeah, but if they went for the TD first, that would've made a difference. Or if Janikowski had hit both of the relatively short (40-ish yard) FGs he missed.
