TD from Palmer to Floyd.  2 point conversion is good.  7 point lead by Arizona.  In Seattle.

The Cardinals are good.  The NFC West looks to be an incredibly tight division next year.

Niners lose tomorrow and we have a play-in game on Sunday. Niners win out and Seahawks lose to the Rams next week, then Niners win division and get the bye. Should be interesting.

Wow, epic fuck up by Green Bay. That False start was killer.

Also, why the the clock start up before the snap after a penalty!?

That final false start by GB cost them 5 yards and 2 more chances at the end zone.  Minus Rodgers, this team is bad.  Brutal choke at the end, multiple mental errors by the defense, offense, and coaching staff.

You spike it and get three plays and the clock doesn't matter. Instead you keep going and RUN the ball? Good work there.

Packers just butchered the hell out of that endgame. How do you not spike it?

I think running it with about 25 seconds left is ok there. It's the false start that killed it.

Is that ten second run off rule new? I ...kind of hate that rule.

No. Always a rule, since the offense could sacrifice 5 yards for the clock at any point. When the clock is running and the offense commits a penalty, ten seconds run off, unless the team uses a timeout instead. Since the Packers didn't have one, they had to take the runoff.

That play call was fine. They snapped the ball on 2nd and goal from the 1 with :20 left. Everything after that was an abortion.

Also, if the Eagles win tonight there is another play in game next week (GB @ CHI).  Lots of scenarios left.

The Lions have so much talent and so little discipline. Bring in an actual coach and they could be really good

I was going to say that, in the NFL, there are just certain teams that ever year you KNOW are going to fuck up. It's really kind of incredible. The Lions are one of them, what a mess.

Do the Eagles lay down here?

I think there is value in ensuring their second playoff game will not be in Seattle.

If Rodgers comes back (assuming a Philly win), does that give the GB/CHI game more flex power than DAL/PHI?

Not a chance in hell.

Foles is very protective of the ball. He doesn't make mistakes, which is a joy for Eagles fans after watching McNabb and Vick for so long.

The Patriots' no-huddle offense is somewhat similar to what Chip Kelly has brought to Philly. The method for signaling play calls is different. Eagles have better skill position players, except for Brady, of course.

No doubt this is the wave of the future, until some smart defensive coach finds a way to slow things down.

The Bears apparently didn't get a memo that they could win the division tonight with a win.  Figured the Eagles would try hard to win but a 4-score lead in the 1st half is shocking.

McNabb never threw interceptions.  He was very, very protective of the ball. One of the criticisms of him during his time in Philly is that he wasn't risky enough.

I just looked it up, and he's tied for 4th all time in pass interception percentage at 2.2%.  Brady is 2nd at 2.0%.

And the Rams have been playing very good football of late too.  Their defense is much improved and Zac Stacy is a stud at RB.  The game is no gimme for Seattle.
