And people wondered why the SI Sportsman of the Year thing was annoying.  Meanwhile CBS is shoving it down our throats.
I think they've got something else down their throat right now.

I can't wait for the national media to rip on Denver all week for risking Mannings life and being classless for a record.
I hope you are willing to wait for a while.

Chip Kelly has said they are going to play the game straight up tonight but I guess we'll see.  I remember 2 years ago when Dallas was in the same situation and Romo broke his hand on the first play of the game.

Russell Wilson just made the most Favrian play ever, and somehow it doesn't get picked off. As he's running out of bounds right, he throws into the middle of the field 40 yards down field, went right through Dansby's hands.

Really Dan?  What gave it away, the throwing while up 17 with 4 minutes left?

Or the throw 60 times against a 2 and 12 team?

Isn't the 3rd seed up for grabs still?

Oh fuck me, Peyton sticks around on the field for like 10 minutes to get a studio interview.

There aren't other games to be played, are there?

SHOULDN'T HE BE WAITING IN THE LOCKER ROOM TO CONGRATULATE JJ WATT OR SOMETHING?

Shannon sharpe says no one thought denvers receivers were any good until peyton came and then mentions how hard moreno runs as an example.  I seem to remember Thomas being an up and coming prospect a few years ago who a lot of people liked if he ever got a real qb and how Decker managed to make Tebow look not terrible.  And some guy  named Welker was pretty good too before he had Peyton.

Detroit shitting the bed against the Giants.  Got to get a real coach in there.

If Rex got fired from the Jets that would be a pretty good landing spot for him.

Will the ball-washing for Peyton ever end?

What week is the divisional round?

On another note, there is noting better than a 4-10 coach who is fighting for his job choosing to kick a field goal from the 1.5 yard line at the end of the half.

Arizona's defense is hanging tough in Seattle.  A win by them here and a loss by San Francisco tomorrow (unlikely) means that the Niners and Cardinals play for a playoff spot in Arizona in week 17.

But, a loss by Seattle and a win by the Niners tomorrow means that if the Niners win and Seattle loses (on the road) in week 17 then the Niners take the NFC West.

And that call at Green Bay after a blocked FG sounds all kinds of stupid.

Watching multiple games and do not understand at all what just happened in GB. What was the call?

That was some bullshit call on the steelers.
1) a rule that gives a first down to the team that has a field goal blocked on the attempt to recover the ball is stupid.
2) steelers clearly recovered the ball, making it not a first down for the packers
3) the guy who recovered the ball was down (which should be reviewable it's a fumble recovery)

That was utter nonsense

Seattle hosts the Rams in Week 17.

My bad.  Could have sworn the game was on the road.  It is still very very unlikely that the Niners can pull out the division at this point.  They win tomorrow night and they are in though.

The first Rams/Seahawks game was played in St. Louis at the same time Game 5 was played.  Easy to overlook that game, although it did have a somewhat memorable finish.

TD from Palmer to Floyd.  2 point conversion is good.  7 point lead by Arizona.  In Seattle.

The Cardinals are good.  The NFC West looks to be an incredibly tight division next year.
