Cordarrelle Patterson goes about 50 yards on the opening kickoff.

EDIT - And Dunlap stripsacks Cassel at midfield, then returns it inside the five yard line.

Hope the kid eventually gets a chance to play with a real QB.

How was that a horse collar on Vaccaro? I thought you couldn't  get called for it behind the LoS anyway.

Man, Peyton somehow gets these rainbows in there.  It's amazing how he compensates for his relative lack of arm strength now, a la Pennington.

EDIT - Hahahahaah, clownshoes fake punt pass by the Jets.

Marv way beyond done as a competent announcer. He didn't know what happened with the fake punt.

Incapable of following the game

Or he blew out his hamstring.

Gee, what a shame, I feel badly and everything.

Nah, he was down on the ground grabbing his knee. Now he's lying down on a cart on the sidelines.

He has a history of misses against the Chiefs, I believe

'98, right?  I remember he missed a chippy in OT.  The Pats were 4-0 or something.

EDIT - It was '99, in regulation.  Pats were 4-0 entering the game, in their last year under Carroll.

The only game I'm getting is Cleveland-NYJ.  It doesn't get much worse than this.

Was clutching his right knee, but is walking off the field with some assistance.

Or his left, I don't know.
