Week 15 Game Thread

This is insane.  There's a decent chance that the Cardinals are going to be 11-3 after this game despite starting their 3rd string QB and RB.

EDIT: I can't believe the Cardinals let Lindley throw a pass there.  That's also insane.

Morons. What are the odds you'll face a harder 4th down attempt later in the game that you must convert to get the TD you aren't getting now? Or that you run out of time when a FG would've won the game?

Strong to quite strong.

Or if Zona kicks a FG now, the game is over.

Time for Arizona to sign TEBOW off the street for max entertainment value

Seriously though, Tebow's probably better than Lindley. And what free agent QB is out there that's better than Tebow? I suppose they could sign Case Keenum off the Rams' practice squad since they're already in town.

Pretty glad I didn't watch the game last night. Teams combined for 9 of 32 on 3rd down and just 25 total first downs. Arizona had just four passing first downs - and won.

I am all in with the fact that these defenses are good, But in the 2014 NFL, not being able to pass protect, and complete enough passes to score a TD seems down right feeble. It was like watching a one-legged man kick down a door.

Johnny Football's first possession was a three and out on two handoffs and a quarterback draw. He's about to take the field for a second time. I can't help but be intrigued by all of this.

Why is RG III in? I noticed he was 6-6 with a touchdown.

McCoy was injured.

Plus, Matt Ryan just got nailed with a blindside hit. It was a big hit but nothing special. Personal foul. He was not near the head. He didn't even lead with the head. It was two bodies colliding. An absolutely brutal call.

Agree on the Ryan call. Absolutely brutal. That's Clete Bleckman for you.

Matt Ryan didn't see the defender coming and the referee reacted to the severity of the hit. Ryan also sold the call by lying on the field.

I'll bet the half of the country that got switched to this game from GB/Buffalo are ecstatic about watching that mess.

Tom Savage holy shit. That was brutal.

And Reggie Wayne is no longer good.
I had no idea Tom Savage was good enough to earn an NFL roster spot. Well actually, I still don't know if that's true.

RGIII looked like he scored a TD but he fumbled going on. On review, they overturn. In response, Santana Moss basically threatens to kill the ref. Good times.

Yes.

Also, it was two penalties, so the Giants kicked off from the Redskin 35. Onside kick, and the Giants recovered it.
I've always stated it's a good move to surprise onside kick from the 50. It's a no-brainer to do it from the opponent 35, which makes you wonder why the Redskins were caught off-guard.
