This is a good team. Saturday's game may be the toughest of the season. They do need to show they can win a tight game.
I'm glad you posted this. I was looking at the schedule and scores late last night and had thought similarly. I'm very impressed by the overall quality of the wins....a very balanced team and beating schools across a good mix of power conferences. If I recall correctly, in no games were they really even threatened (except for a little stretch in the Boston College game, the last 10 minutes against LSU, and the very end of the Nebraska and Clemson games). These may not be top-ranked teams, but they are solid basketball teams in good conferences. I don't feel as if they escaped any of the ten wins so far...and that is a good feeling. Although they haven't really had a back-and-forth close contest, they did stave off a few of these comeback attempts. The next few games will be really telling, but I am really getting excited about this team.
And it is nice to see the Mullins Center start to draw again. I'm in NJ now, but saw the BYU game on television and can see that the energy is starting to return surrounding this team. I went online to look up tickets at upcoming games and saw that at least one only had single seats available, with the exception of a row or two at the top. It should be a fun season for the students on campus.
