Huh. All this time I thought he was a defenseman. Guess I know even less about him than I thought. Yeah, don't think there's much need in the center position on this team.
Goc is German Chris Kelly. Not really a fit.
FWIW, I'd take a run at Vanek here in the final hour and see if the Isles panic with the deadline looming. The market for forwards appears a lot cheaper than for D. Screw it.

I can't believe Vanek and Moulson have not been moved or even had any rumors about them today. Those two have to be moved.
I agree. See if you can improve the team in some fashion. Adding Vanek would make our top 3 lines comparable with Pittsburgh's.cshea said:

Schultz went for a 5th? These prices are not high at all. You have to think the Bruins aren't making these deals because they have something bigger up their sleeve.
I still don't understand the Thomas move from Dallas' perspective. Is he suddenly going to be their number 1? I doubt he's better than Lethonen at this point in time. Why make the deal?
