Stupid Things I Can't Figure Out

Do you no longer get notifications when someone @'s you here? I get them for when my posts are quoted, or of course when a watched thread gets a new post, etc, but I would've thought the whole point of @'ing someone is to alert them of your naming them.
They've only rarely worked in the past, and seem to be totally broken at the moment.
If I'm in a forum and enter a thread, then hit "back", I'm returned to the top of the forum page, not at the thread I just left. This is in safari and it never used to do this.
Whenever I try to post a picture from my phone, I get an error message that the file is too big. I have an iPhone, no idea what I should do to post directly. What I normally do is email the Pictor myself and then post a png version from my laptop but it’s a bit of a pain in the neck.
I have tried using the ‘Attach files’ link, the picture icon in the toolbar, and just pasting the photo in. No luck on any of these.
Any ideas?

This is the piece I was getting wrong. I actually did try that this morning but it was on a screen shot that I took of a picture instead of the original picture I had taken. The screen shot only has the 1 size instead of the smaller options that the original has available.

Is there a way to mark an entire thread as "ignored" or "automatically read"? I want to know if there are unread posts in the Port Cellar, for example, but I might not care about a particular thread there, so I want any new posts there to not cause the forum to be highlighted when I view the main page.
@E5 Yaz What email app are you using? Most have a trash can icon that when clicked upon, the current email will be deleted. Some also have check boxes next to each email. When you check the box on as many as you want you want, the trash can icon should appear. Click that and they should all delete.
See, this is why I posted here. Pretend you're talking to someone who just got their first computer. I'm just trying to clean out my PM box. Are you saying that it's tied to my email provider?
If you mean on SOSH, you can't delete a conversation: it's a group item that could be in many people's inboxes. You can leave it, which will mean it doesn't show up in your inbox anymore.
Trying to search for a phrase with two relatively common words. Search brings me threads with each word, not both, even putting them in “quote marks”. Could have sworn this was possible.

Try no quotes but use sovereign&citizens. Just tried it and it seems to be picking up just that phrase.
It usually does. I just tried without quotes and the first hit has both words. It appears that is the only hit with both. Could be the post you're looking for doesn't contain both or has been removed.
Turns out if you just pick the "Views and News" forum, you get a bunch of hits for both words without using quotes. Is this the thread you're looking for:

That's the one. I found a reference in a Q thread that I used as a base for my update.
I was able to find two pages worth of threads by adding a plus mark between the words, so searching for "sovereign+citizens" ... which tells the search to find that exact phrase.
Is it possible to start a thread with multiple poll questions or is it just limited to one poll?
