Eagles, Colts, Browns, and Raiders have to be teams I'd think will be all over Revis. I want to believe that NYDN tweet, but I just won't until I believe it. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the bidding gets high enough where the winning team regrets not just making the trade for the other contract.
Thought of that earlier, given the ability to restructure the bonus and where the cap is heading might be correct.

Hopefully if the Pats sign him he doesnt go the Asomugha career path

He'll go to the Colts, the Pats will wind up with a couple of second-tier FAs and the rationalization party will be epic

If he goes to the Colts they will probably try him at running back, so that's not a huge deal.

Yeah, the other contract obviously had a very high per year salary, but the benefits were that you can at least spread the money some and if his play drops or he gets injured you aren't stuck with, say, 30 million dollars more guaranteed.

Revis has been the Scott Boras of this sport. Every move the right one, everything he touches turns to gold. Watch him come out of this with mo money than before

I want to make an aggressive offer for Revis, but the idea that this has to happen or that the season is doomed without a marquee free agent signing is lol.

Was just about to say something similar.  That's a team with plenty of cap space, a real need at CB, and that might be very attractive to Revis for other reasons.
But they wouldn't trade for him so their number shouldn't be too far out of whack.

Listen to KFP, Bill. Just look at his RFD team. He knowz.
Look at my defense, Bill. Loaded to the gills.

If I had Brady? Well...I'd actually be good enough to pull off a 19-0 run.

Bitch.

So trade Brady for pass rush and Fitzpatrick?

No, silly. Mallett is going to ARZ for LFitz.

Brady is going to the Texans for the No. 1, No. 33 and JJ Watt

A reliable source texted me that the only thing holding up negotiations is what to do with the Malaysian Airliner that is currently on the island.

You mean the "lotta lotta culture" they have there?

On a slightly more serious note, how much do we know about how Revis performed last season and whether he showed any lingering affects from his surgery?

Reason 19403943 why I should never run a pro sports team: if I was Elway I probably couldnt resist the trolling fun of signing Revis.

On cell, but his PFF numbers were great despite a shitty supporting cast and being stuck in a scheme that wasnt a fit.

Someone mentioned him turning into Asomungha (sic?) And the parallels are there, except he actually played well when thrust into a shitty situation.

So you're saying he's going to end up scrapping for playing time on special teams and in a utility/back-up role?

Naw, he just stays bizarrely centered. Sometimes, I'm not sure he understands what message boarding is all about.

So when Belichick signs him, we'll know the terrorism theory was true.

For an instant, I saw only "signed by Denver" in this thread devoted to Revis.
