This play has been pointed out before, but this screen shot of the play (around 4:30) where Luka double-teams for no reason and Kyrie doesn’t rotate shows both of them pointing to indicate Brown is now going to be left open in the corner.

It’s good for them that they quickly recognize the consequences of their (in)actions. But not that helpful for the Mavs. Let’s hope we see more of this.

I mentioned it elsewhere but Luka is elite at telling his teammates where to go to cover for him.

In the play where KP misses the 3P after the contest by Lively, and Lively took off expecting DAL to be able to corral the OReb but JT got it and then fed KP for the dunk, after the dunk, Luka gestures to Lively as if to say, "You have to come back to help/rebound." Although Luka basically didn't move after getting blown by.

It's got to be - at the very least - frustrating to play with Luka.

I had noticed this one as well. I think the frustrating part about playing D with Luka is that he actually knows where he needs to be as well and cannot/will not get there, and no one can call him out for that because of his impact on the other end. Just wait to see him at the Olympics. I think it will be farcical how little energy he expends on D.

I hope the Cs crush him in this series, obviously, but from a pure basketball fan perspective, it would be great to see him dedicate himself to his conditioning just to see whether he can make an incremental improvement. That would, at the very least, make the WC even more difficult in the coming years for Denver, MINN, OKC, SA, etc. Maybe these injuries (which I am sure we will hear all about after the series) will scare him straight a little.

Dude is nearly having a nervous breakdown by the time of the White block.

Legit expected him to fire off a ‘I don’t wanna be around anymore’ in the final thirty seconds.

Pyeongtaek, South Korea
I just started watching these videos and I’m sorry I didn’t start following this thread earlier. What’s with the living in North Korea stuff?

Also, I just want to yell at someone, “SHOW YOUR HANDS AND SLIDE YOUR FEET!!”

He was shitting on the media narrative that the Mavs or Timberwolves were good defensively earlier in the playoffs is how it started. I don't remember which one was first, but he has consistently using it against them.

It appears to me that some of those double teams are pretty good, just that Tatum is making great decisions on passing out or putting up a shot. Even last year he doesn't make some of those reads and if this was two years ago those result in turnovers.

Dude needs to fix his sound so his audio isn't clipping. He's the "Death Magnetic" of YouTubers.

Interesting thanks for posting. Not that any one cares, but a couple of points.

(1) It's easier to say cut than actually do it when you have a guy iso'ng out top. Last thing you want to do is bring a defender to get in the way. That being said, agreed DAL probably could have used some more movement.

(2) As for Al, DAL went at him a lot, as in 26-72 over the series. Maybe Kryie went at Jrue and DW because he thought he'd be more successful?
