I have a ton of respect for Indiana fans calling Lebron out on that bullshit.
Literally the only time I've been impressed by Indiana fans in any sport.
Hope fans around the league pick up on that chant and start calling players out, especially LeBron & Wade.

How can you not foul down 6 with 35 seconds left?  I thought Vogel was smart?

And make it down 8 with 35 seconds? You need to try and get a stop to keep it a two possession game there imo..

He's in pretty much a lose-lose in that spot though.

Time is the greater enemy at that point.  You can't let them run it to 11 seconds.  You need to go for a steal and then foul immediately.  You can make up a point per possession even if they drain the free throws.  You can't get the time back.

Stephenson made a bad play, time to favor the knee.
I had Miami -2 so am very thankful he made a typical Lance Stephenson play to end the game. He was laying on the ground for no reason simply because he thought George was going to take the shot. The second he realized he was going to get his chance to shine, he hopped back up on that "bum leg" and let it fly... Best part as a Miami bettor is that had he not played hurt, he would have had a wide open look from reasonable 3 point range. Phew.

Easy to see why Stephenson's teammates "allegedly" can't stand him. In the post-game presser after we all saw the bad turnovers down the stretch by George and Hibbert all Lance could keep repeating was how the turnovers down the stretch cost his team tonight.

I love how Simmons always uses the most awkward times to show off why a trade that wasn't made 11 years ago as suggested by him on his blog in his 3rd column of a stressful week...is the reason why a team lost.

I was wondering why he wasn't tested in any way after being kicked in the head twice on the same play:

@ScottAgness Paul George said he blacked out from his collision with Wade, and he tried to play through having blurry vision.

Not totally sure I believe this, but:

Per Pacers PR: Paul George answered all the ?s on the bench that pertained to the concussion protocol. Only symptom was pain in back of head

After the game, Paul George was symptom-free but he will undergo further evaluation.

Did he have a concussion in the first half too?

It pretty clearly affected his D, LeBron had much more space to operate in after the collision, especially on that out of bounds play where he got a wide open look.

Dirty Dwayne Does It Again.

"But he seems like such a nice young man"

Perhaps having your two best scorers eye poked/ head kicked could effect your scoring proficiency at game end?

I usually root for the Heat, but Wade is easily the dirtiest player of this generation. It's truly amazing he doesn't get more flak for it, I didn't see a single pundit even slightly question whether that was intentional or not, and it easily could end up being the turning point of the series.

It's a little moralizing but this is an awesome video

Well, this is very exciting for us Spurs-haters, although SA has been expecting this all along:

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA  2m
Serge Ibaka has rapidly progressed and Thunder have changed status to day-to-day for Western Conference Finals, league source tells Yahoo.

Paul George cleared to play in game 3 via the concussion protocol, no surprise.

Damn it. Too much Lebron and Wade. Pacers half court offense is too easily manacled.

Go Spurs. Stay healthy.

Has there ever been a more unlikeable team assembled then Miami? From the overall douchiness of The Decision, to the incredibly hateable fair-weather, bandwagon hopping fans, to the evil super-villain Pat Riley pulling the strings, I can't think of anybody worse, not even the bad boys.

It helps that David West is trying to chase him around. Unsuccessfully.

I hope these last couple of games have been an anomaly for Wade, or we're staring down the barrel of three straight for these tools.

I thought Miami won the game in the last half of the second quarter. A combination of good D by Miami and atrocious offense by Indiana led to a run of 7-8 possessions where Indy turned the ball over. You knew at halftime who would win.

This. A 1000 times this. He hits a few shots in 2010 and 2012 and things are very different.
It sure would have been had David West been guarding him then too.

I mean, why didn't Vogel just tell his defense to sag off him entirely?   The outcome would have been the same and it least they would be better rested for game four.

After Jordan and Kobe the next group of greatest 2's of All Time are Wade, Drexler and Jerry West......how are his playoff performances an anomaly?

I don't disagree HRB, but I had thought that Wade had lost a step this year.  The last couple of games have been vintage from him and he's looked, to my eyes, more explosive than at other points this season.  That's what I meant by "anomalous."  If that's who he still is, then Miami will be difficult to beat.

He has been conserved more this year but if you look at his shooting percentages throughout the season he still has it or some of it. In terms of durability though, he has definitely lost all of it.

West deserves to be in that first group, he is one of the ten greatest players all-time and you could easily make the argument that he was a better player than Kobe.

Anyone that has seen Dwyane Wade play over the last few years knows that he isn't even close to the player that he was during the first half of his career. His performances are very inconsistent and he isn't the breathtaking athlete that he was from 2003-2010. He also made 9 three pointers all season, he isn't going to make two every game either.

Wade sat out 28 games this year in order to fully conserve himself for these final two series, since you can do that in the East with no repercussions. He looked unbelievable in that game yesterday, the best I've seen from him in years. Clearly he can't play like that night in and night out for months, but he only needs to do it for a few weeks.
