NYC
only 1 storyline, will completely overlook the Patriots coming back from 10 down against the vaunted #1 defense in the 4th quarter to take the lead.

Oh the 4th will be mentioned as tainted

All 4 will be mentioned as tainted

Especially the first one
For sure, that is coming. He'll be angey at Carroll for the rest of his days. Spoiled his hate party.

Love that he 'forgives' the Seattle players for the fight. Does he forgive them for jumping offside too? What a butthurt clown he is today. Awesome.

I love it.  Anyone who expects any logic from FF today will be disappointed.  Just listen for the schadenfreude...the glorious, glorious schadenfreude.

Mike must have had most of his talking points,  for today's show, already written when the interception ruined everything.  He must have shit his Depends at that very moment.  Probably had to bring  in a Haz-Mat clean up crew.

Ok Im out of here it is clear he is not going to give the Pats any due, and may actually try to actually ignore them totally

Edelman was wonderful, Lane injury was 'UGE... I guess Mike isn't sure who was the Pats QB last night.  Scott Secules?  Ah... just mentioned some guy named "Tom"

Ripping on Goodell now. Easy target but he is spot on here at least. "Cowardly act" not to show his face at all yesterday.

But a ridiculous INT in the endzone by an UDFA rookie somehow negates that?

America is never happy when New England wins, apparently.  Except the first time.  Then it was ok.  Except they cheated.  So no.  But wait, they didn't.

Go Hawks.

A couple callers trying to say it was DPI on Butler but he's vehemently shooting it down.

Of course now talking about how he magically knows "that kid" deflated the balls in the bathroom.

Shows you out out of it he is. That kid was no kid and he probably doesn't even know that only one of the balls was significantly under. He's a willfully ignorant troll on this subject.

I listened the entire 1st hour - NOT ONE mention of Brady's 4th tile, Belichicks 4th title, Pats place in history. Hell, barely any mention of the Pats. Just sour grapes and lots of them.  Not that I'm surprised or anything.

When I listen to Mike go after the Jets, I get that he is trolling. He is trolling big time and sometimes he lets it slip. I don't think this is like that. This is another of those weird things where a media guy seems to really not like the Pats. I find Mike pretty entertaining, but I don't find this entertaining because it is just so stupid. I don't root for the Pats but I respect what they accomplished.  It is a joke that these media jerks cannot give the guys their due. I was not a big Sugar Ray Leonard fan but I couldn't deny his greatness, these media dopes are weird.

Apparently BB didn't kiss Francesa's ring sufficiently for him at some point

Francesa's first and foremost a Yankees fan.   He's also a huge Giants fan.

It pains him to admit that the landscape has shifted so far from under his feet, and that Boston, of all places, has a premiere football franchise.  It pains him because it's not his.  In his bones, he believes New York (and, therefore he himself) deserves winners, and Boston is a second rate sports town.  He hates the Patriots because they are an affront to his established understanding of the Big Sports Narrative.  He doesn't hate the Red Sox as much because, let's face it, the Yankees have such a huge historical head start in titles and HOF players that he knows Boston can never really catch up in terms of baseball prestige.  But the Patriots...

He's basically the high school jock who grows up to learn that the nerdy kid he used to pick on became fabulously successful, and can't fucking handle it.

Thank God they won that game yesterday. Thank God. Today would have be a special order of Mike's dumpster fire of Ballghazi nonsense, gleeful I-told-ya-so's and just desserts.
Instead we get to wallow in his misery. His fat Patriot hating rage-a-holic misery. This will be a day long remembered.

Yes, but the Pats allowed TDs on 5 of 6 runs from the 1 yard line.

How about that the Pats stopped Lynch twice for no gain on third and one and third and two? Earlier in the game?

And the Fat Fuck continued to say that Lynch was unstoppable and ignore the regular season stats. That in the playoffs Lynch is unstoppable - yet see ABOVE - he was stopped TWICE earlier in the same game

Again, he has made a career out of creating false narratives to match his resentment based belief system

A very sick individual in very deep denial.

How many of these were with Wilfork and Siliga at full strength? There's probably a garbage-time TD in there as well. Need more context behind that stat.
