I guess now we know why they tried to get some more outs from Bello.
Water.
And Casas as the postgame interviewer.

There was NO reason for Kenley to have to even warm up in this game. You had to give Bello that extra inning? If you just went to the pen to begin with the lead would probably have stayed bigger.

Because Weissert was so dominating?

Alright, put Kenley back in the air-conditioned room, and let the dirty water flow.

But I wonder if he would have fared better had Bello not given up that 3 run job to give the A's some hope? They seemed to be demoralized up til then.
Maybe. And maybe it tightened Weissert up. But hes been scuffling anyway.
At the time i thought Bello was done. But i didnt realize anderson was off limits. In hindsight, its clear that cora tried to steal some outs because he was going to follow Bello with twigs and seeds.
I suppose he was successful? (Except for using Kelly).

Dom must be a good dude. He knows he's close to unemployed when Casas comes back and had a good time with it.

I don’t think he is (close to unemployed). Casas isn’t going to be straight into playing every day. Dom will get his time in the lineup.

I hope so, because i like him and his steadiness has been huge, even if his production hasnt.
But it might be hard to have 2 LH 1B-only guys.

And he plays a good defensive first base and you can tell the guys in the room like him a lot. He’s staying on the roster as long as he’s healthy.

Sorry if I missed it, but did we find out who was the last pitcher to start off a game with the first 10 outs all by KO? My Google fu is failing me on this one.

I wonder why the alt broadcast is not available on International MLB Gameday. It's NESN produced, right?
It is, for sure. My Spectrum app just offered it up to me in the suggested channels intro screen — both just had the NESN logo. I originally clicked on it by mistake.
