The Revs are signing Arnor Traustason, an Icelandic winger. The club hasn't
officially announced it, but they did tweet a video clip that consisted of the Icelandic flag colors and audio of the Viking clap thing, so...

I can't quite make sense of what our XI is going to be, mostly in a good way because there are options.
GK: Future USMNT #1 Matt Turner
RB: Probably Brandon Bye since Bruce talked about Buchanan as a winger last week. DeLaGarza.is a backup, Jones & Buchanan can play here. So can Polster.
CB: Kessler & Farrell. DeLaGarza and Verfurth as backups, but this feels awfully weak should one of the starters get hurt.
LB: I thought Jones did decently last year but Christian Mafla might be preferred, we'll see.
CM: Kaptoum and Polster or Caicedo as starters? McNamara, Caldwell also in the mix.
#10 - Does Bou play here (more like a supporting striker perhaps), or Gil?
Wingers: The other of Bou/Gil + one of Traustason or Bunbury or Buchanan.
FW: Buksa, backed up by Rennicks + Kizza, plus Bou or Bunbury could play up top if needed
Three questions I have, in no particular order:
1) Are we going to get another CB?
2) Will Buksa improve on his 2020 performance?
3) Will Kaptoum be the man in CM? My view is that we have a lot of perfectly reasonable CMs but nobody who is particularly high-end by MLS standards.
