Given 2012 and 2014, there are now a lot of ex Sox out there - more so than usual it seems.
So how did our trade partners do this year?
Bal is in the post season with Miller's solid contribution.
SF with Peavy, who was excellent.
St. Louis with Lackey, who was decent.
Oak with Lester, who was amazing. (Gomes, not so much).
Meanwhile, from minor trades, released players, and non signed FAs:
Salty has a Eh year with Miami (90 OPS+).
Jacoby has a decent year with the Yanks (110 OPS+).
Chris Capuno was mediocre for the Yanks.
Rich Hill gave the Yanks 5 excellent innings.
Steven Drew was picked up by the Yanks and used as an anchor.
AJP was picked up by St Louis and used as a paperweight.
Carp was picked up by the Rangers and used as a doorstop.
Sizemore was picked up by Philly and put up a 96 OPS+ in 60 games.
Doubront looked OK in a handful of late season starts with the Cubs - perhaps he'll get it together.
Ryan Kalish seems like a AAAA player (Cubs).
Of all of these, Doubront could be the most painful to watch in a few years.

I'd like one of the Pittsburg, KC, DC group to win the WS. On those teams, there are no notable ex-Sox, with the exception of Melancon for the Ps. Or the cameo guys - Bruce Chen, Adam LaRoche.
