The Flyers start there 2nd 6-game roadie of the month tonight in Edmonton. This was a brutal month for them schedule-wise, but going through Edmonton-Vancouver-Calgary-Colorado-Phoenix-Jersey, a .500 trip isn't a stretch at all. Things are going pretty well...now we just have to hope Homer doesn't do something stupid.

All that goal does is further underscore what a joke Scott is. Ed Hillel could have scored that and everyone in that building knows that.
That was the first time Scott has been on the ice for a goal this entire season.
the hilarious prt is that he got 12 minutes of ice time, which in gave him a chance to get called for a penalty which led to Toronto taking the lead late in the 2nd.

Winter Classic Alumni Game currently airing on NBCSN. Pretty cool to see some of these guys back on the ice. Pretty sure Tie Domi is going to knock Chelios on his ass before we're done here.

Speaking of that game, Steve Mason played his ass off again and the Flyers stole a couple points in Vancouver. The Canucks look like a much better team under Torts than they did with Vigneault; they also appear less bitchy/more gritty.

Workmanlike 4-1 win in Calgary, 3-0 through the western Canada portion of their 6-game trip. The Flyers are getting scoring from their D, 12 goals in the past 12 games (granted the 12th was a 200-ft Coburn dump into an empty net shorthanded last night), but the Giroux "slow start" is definitely over, he's back to his usual point-a-game pace and I assume is back to being a lock for Sochi.
