I do & should have mentioned it, but the internet sucks at my kids' gymnastics. You know the game's being livestreamed, right?
Was it as amazing as I assume?

I actually totally disagree on Rosier. Not the left handed thing, but I think he needs at least a few months in Worcester. I've been kinda overhyping him because there's not much else going on & he's running good on BABIP luck. He made a big leap this year, but he needs to make another one to be a positive MLB player.I really think that if Rosier batted RH he would be on the opening day roster for the Red Sox next year.
But this organization is insanely left-handed with position players. They could make multiple trades to balance it and still be too left-handed.
I mean this is the organization that has giant walls in left field in the majors, the spring training park, and several minor league parks.
LH hitters who go the other way are great in these parks, but most LH don't go oppo all that often, and also great are normal RH hitters who pull 340-foot high fly balls frequently, so maybe we should mix in a few of those.
It's just weird IMO.
I guess they were swinging early & often. 15 pitches, 11 strikes.Bryan Mata allowed 4 hits & 2 runs in the 7th. He did get a strikeout, though?
Glendale lost 7-2. Rosier finished 1-5 & Hickey was 0-2 with 2 walks.Glendale is losing 6-0 heading to the 8th.
Rosier is 0-3 (no strikeouts, BABIP!) & Hickey is 0-2 with a walk & a strikeout.
I can’t say where I heard this, but word is JM3 has replaced all friends and family in photos at his house with headshots of ROSIER.(If I'm going to be labeled a Rosier stan I might as well lean into it)

Nice day for pitching!
Hickey struck out, though, so 3-5, 2 k's etc., & teammates are 1-20.Red Sox are 3-4 with 2 walks, a run, an RBI, a steal, & a strikeout.
Their teammates are 1-19 with 5 walks & 11 strikeouts.
Olds allowed a walk in a scoreless 7th.Hickey is now 1-1 with 2 walks & Rosier is 2-3.
Wyatt Olds pitched a 1-2-3 6th with a strikeout.
Glendale up 1-0.

It's pretty easy when there are only a few players who matter lolThanks for keeping these going @JM3
Hickey on Penrod:"Otherworldly," Penrod said. "I just keep saying I'm in a dream just waiting to wake up. I'm just trying to enjoy every single moment that I get because you never know when you're going to put the uniform on for the last time."
Penrod on confidence:"Fastball was electric," said the backstop. "That changeup is unreal. Slider, he had it when he needed it. I thought he had all of his stuff tonight, was commanding it very well, throwing anything in any count. What more can you ask?"
"Honestly, I've rolled confidence over," he said. "I felt like I had the ability and my stuff played well enough that I could take it here and see what I could do against these hitters."
