2 run HR by Salvador Perez. A child had just been hit by a fouled ball, and AJP was just saying that Perez was upset and could be taken "out of his at bat." Then the HR.

Hi, guys. Gotta go outside and work in the garden. DVR set. If anything amazing happens, like a spectacular play, it would be great if someone noted it here and in what inning.

Correa double and Springer's mad dash around the bases to score from first. 3 - 2 Astors. Bottom 5.

Springer might just remind of a young or a current Hunter Pence.

Springer walks with 2 out in the 5th, Correa rifles a 3-2 pitch into the corner and Springer easily scores for a 3-2 lead.

This Astros team is good and they are only going to get better.  They need more pitching but who, side from the Mets, does not?

If you have to wonder whether Yost is going to trust anyone else for the next 3-4 innings other than Herrera and Davis

No dog in this fight, but that is a really stupid call. They need to tweak these replay rules.

OK, I didn't see irrefutable visual evidence that the tag was still on when both feet were off the bag.

Addendum: If they are going to call tag plays like that, they're encouraging runners to send the fielder flying.

I feel like the freeze frame when both feet looked off and the glove was on Gore's ass was pretty clear. YMMV of course.

There was no clear evidence to me that the actual glove was touching Gore when his foot was off. The arm was, but that doesn't matter.

Hard to tell 100% of course, but you're possibly being fooled by the view from the 3rd base dugout making it look like the glove is on his ass when there's actually space between, as indicated by the view more from home plate. I have no Tivo here to look it over, though.

Could be. It looked like he was making contact to me but it is hard to be certain with that angle.

Altuve just had a post-season AB right there.  Wow...

And in the process got Herrera out of the game with 6-9 outs to go

Maybe Yost shouldn't have taken Herrera out.

Or used Madson against the bottom of the order in the 6th and started Herrera fresh in the seventh
