Maybe the Jays will understand that this poor bastard has no idea where any of his pitches are going.
Hopefully it causes a brawl. Llovera has no clue where anything is going and the Jays intentionally plunking someone for it deserves a fight, not that the Sox seem capable of fighting.
That is what you find when you are never willing to give up anything of value.
Glad we saved all the good relievers in games we could have won. Some bird in the hand thinking would’ve been nice a week ago.
Need to make sure Jansen is fresh for whatever team he pitches for next season.
This is a bad team with a bad roster compiled by a man who is bad at his job of making a major league baseball team competitive.
Don't you know, this is one of five or six bridge years until this team can reach third place.
The constant dumpster diving for pitching needs to stop this offseason. As they did with Jansen and Martin for the back end of the pen, go out and spend real money to upgrade the starting pitching. Put Houck and Whitlock back in the pen and sign 2 guys(Snell and Yamamoto for example) to go along with Bello and Sale. I'm about done with Bloom's approach to building the major league roster. His actions this offseason will dictate whether or not he has a job for 2025.
Is that his job? It seems his job is to create a top farm system and save money.
Watching the Mets go through the motions against the Orioles makes me wonder if that’s what we’ll see from the Sox the rest of the way.
Of saying how great it is that the organization that won the WS in 04, 07, 13, and 18 no longer cares about competing for a championship? You are probably right.
