6 miles from Angel Stadium
Game 110
Verdugo sat even though things were dire.
The dumbass baserunning gaffe by McGuire.
The post-game comments where Cora flashed ire.
Saturday’s game was a true dumpster fire.
(Hope those flames are not out funeral pyre.)
The whole team seems to be stuck in the mire
since we were neither a seller or buyer.
Everything seems to be going haywire.
We seem like Sox who’ve been lost in the dryer.
The post season spot to which we aspire
is further away than t’was the day prior.
If we really want it, it will require
the team to focus and aim a bit higher.
Here’s one more true fact (cause I’m not a liar.)
We should always wear that yellow attire.
For now, win a game. That’s my sole desire.
Masterpiece.

My NESN feed has been frozen for a couple of hours now on something called The GM Shuffle with Michael Lombardi and Femi Abebefe. I've rebooted my cable boxes to no avail. Should I be pissed off or relieved?
My wife remedied the issue by suggesting that I stream on our Spectrum app. Duh... So I do as suggested and voila...three man booth of O'Brien, Youk and Wake.

What’s the reasoning behind using an opener for an inning, then a “bulk man” for four or five? Why not just use the “bulk man” as the starter?

Having the guy who only needs to go one inning face the best part of the order, I think?

Man, we are over analyzing the final play last night. Turn the page, there’s a game going on today.
