If the players quit because the sox did not “trade for reinforcements” then they could never handle the boston market to begin with.

Story doesn't seem to want to rush himself back and by the time Whitlock and Houck come back, the Sox could be buried in last. Sale will bring a spark, but he can't go out there and throw 90+ pitches right now.
