6.25 - I don't like this lineup

A 3-4 road trip against the mediocre at best Twins and the shitty White Sox shows what this team really is. The 2022 Red Sox had a hot streak last June too, then proceeded to be lousy the rest of the way. Another below .500 season here we come.
It’s incredible how bad this team is against bad teams. Whatever, hopefully this eliminates any doubt they should be sellers at the deadline.

The funny part is (well maybe more tragic) is the Sox would be tied for 1st place in the AL Central.
We seem to be a better team when we play better teams.

I dunno, being in a division with the mighty White Sox and Twins sounds tough.
They have a +21 run differential so they are prob a slightly above .500 team which also matches their record. Btw, for reference the Orioles are at +26, MFY +23 and TOR +23. It’s a nasty division.
I like this team actually…I know they aren’t really good enough yet (esp in AL East) but I’ve been enjoying watching the development of the youngsters…and veterans like Turner have been fun to watch. He puts up professional at bats almost every time.
The growing pains are kind of sucky but it comes with the territory having so many young players. I’m hoping once Houck is back soon, they can build a little momentum because the rotation is getting some consistently good starts outside of the buffet of Houck replacements.
They're gonna be this bad next year too. But don't worry, in 2025 a bunch of rookies are going to help win 85 games.
