6.25 - I don't like this lineup

I think pinch hitting for a guy in the 3rd inning of a regular season game in June is probably not a great idea. I don’t think you would ever do it to a regularly rostered guy because you are going to have to deal with the hard feelings for another 100 games.
You can get away with it here because Cora knows Bobby won’t be here in one week.
However I stop don’t think it was the right spot. If it was 2nd and 3rd with one out and you really needed contact I could see lifting Booby there, but statistically even though he has been hot, you are pinch hitting a .220 hitter for a .180 hitter when a hit, not just contact, is needed.

Actually, I had a fantastic Cuban sandwich. The food here has always been great. It’s the anti-Wrigley.
Well at least run at the runner a bit and force him one way or the other. Just terrible and a half hearted attempt at the ball that got by him to start it off.
There was a hint there of what a horrible baserunner he is. Lucky for him, bad decision, lousy throw, and a non-existent tag.
But, yea, still a decent bat.
