A solid LF catches that. Yoshida is hitting but his defense is as advertised.

Well now, that was gratifying. Wong pounces like no Red Sox catcher since Tony Peña.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a 2-6-3 DP before.... can anyone remember one in a Sox game I might've watched?

Does anyone else think Casas forgets how many outs there are? On that DP, it appeared he was watching the runner at 3B even though there were already 3 outs. I've seen him do that a few times before.

Yeah, I've seen it before but I didn't catch it there. He seems like a space cadet on defense.

He does it every time. It isn't him forgetting, it's one of his quirks.

Every team in baseball does this after the third out of an inning. Outfielders throw "passes" to other outfielders, etc.
Casas might be throwing it to Devers, or the shortstop, so they can drop the in-play ball on the mound. Who knows? But every team does it.

I took a very deep breath when that ball went to Kike. but nice throw!
