That's what I'm talking about.I like it better when he was on the radio for 'EEI broadcasts.
But yeah, he's miles better than Phlegm.

Are you hanging out with him at a bar or something?Lumer talks too much
He's had joy, he's had funI reckon this might be one of Jax' last seasons in the sun.
He was a nice scrap heap pick up for this team, at least till Story is backY’know, Pablo Reyes is pretty good.

You tried to teach us right from wrongI hate the two of you bringing up that 70's dreck.
I think you've had too much wine and too much songNot doing it
No force play at second.I’ve always wondered, what’s the purpose of taking second in a situation like this? It has no effect on the game and doesn’t even count for stats
Isn’t the chance of that mattering about the same as the chance of pulling a hamstring? Six run lead with two outs I don’t understand ever straying from the baseNo force play at second.
This is way better.I hate the two of you bringing up that 70's dreck.
Amazing how quickly a 5 game win streak starts reeling teams in. Same can be said too though in the opposite direction when you start losing a bunch.Half a game behind the Jays and one back of Houston for the last WC spot (and 1.5 behind MFY)
Maybe? Maybe not?Isn’t the chance of that mattering about the same as the chance of pulling a hamstring? Six run lead with two outs I don’t understand ever straying from the base
He was the primary third baseman on a World Series winner. That's something. Will Middlebrooks is a great media personality for someone who was such a bad player
If you're pulling a hamstring trotting into second with defensive indifference, you probably shouldn't be running at all.Isn’t the chance of that mattering about the same as the chance of pulling a hamstring? Six run lead with two outs I don’t understand ever straying from the base
He played in one game in that Series, thoughHe was the primary third baseman on a World Series winner. That's something.
And got called for obstructionHe played in one game in that Series, though
Yes, he was largely phased-out by the end, but I was surprised when I looked it up a few weeks ago just how many games he played that year.He played in one game in that Series, though
I was exaggerating, it just seems there’s no benefit at all so why do it. Like what if they cover and you get thrown outIf you're pulling a hamstring trotting into second with defensive indifference, you probably shouldn't be running at all.
Big Iggy vibes from him. Can get to balls, accurate(ish) arm, makes contact. I get that even Iglesias' last run with the Sox he was diminished in the field, but he had pretty sure hands. Reyes has some range, and it feels like if he gets there, he'll make the right decision. He was a nice scrap heap pick up for this team, at least till Story is back
Story at second and keep Reyes at SS.Big Iggy vibes from him. Can get to balls, accurate(ish) arm, makes contact.
The infield defense needs to still be a priority. Reyes made multiple plays in the field. Keep going with this.
That's my idea, honestly. It's hard to judge Reyes on his defensive ability based on his ML time (171 games). Based on what metrics you look at, he's below average, at least on B-Ref for dWar.Story at second and keep Reyes at SS.
Bingo. Dude hit the life lottery. And he still gets to call Red Sox games on TV on top of all that.Middlebrooks won a ring, made money, and married Jenny Dell. I don’t think he cares about his career OPS all that much.
in his defense, that call was BSAnd got called for obstruction
