Twins? I wish I had a twin so I could know what I’d look like without plastic surgery.

Next time Cora sends Ort to the shower, he should give him a toaster.
I dated a player on the Red Sox. He was so dumb that he could only count to 21 if he was naked.
The Red Sox defense and my love life are like swiss cheese. Most of it is missing and what's there stinks.
Why do Red Sox outfielders treat the cut-off man like men treat my vagina? They know its there, but they dont want to hit it.

The Red Sox charter pulled into the gate at MSP at 0146A CDT or 0246 EDT. They probably hit their beds at 3AM central time. I do not believe that Paxton was directed to fly on ahead of the team, what with all the confusion about starters and the double header.

This really sucks for the team and staff. However, it does feel a little better knowing you swept your Division rivals.

If I was able to look this up correctly, there have only been 3 non-pitchers in history to have 2500 career plate appearances and a batting average under .200. Two of them were playing in the AL Central this year. Joining Bill Bergen, the worst hitter in history, are Mike Zunino and Joey Gallo, both at .199. Now that Zunino has been released, let's hope the Red Sox can help break the tie and get Gallo down to .198.

Game 73
A Father’s Day sweep against you-know-who.
We didn’t score 6, but 4 runs would do.
Brayan Bello, brilliant since his debut,
threw 7 strong. Triston Casas came through
with a 2-run double, and strange but true,
we went a whole game without a miscue!
What a strange season. The whole thing’s askew.
Are we for real? Is there something abrew?
Are we a good team? I haven’t a clue.
(Evidence is easy to misconstrue.)
We’ve had big walk-offs - and the switcheroo-
surefire victories we somehow blew.
Despite bad stretches that made us all boo,
(it’s fair to say there’s been more than a few)
we’re back in the race. Is this déjà vu?
We only trail in the Wild Card by two.
5 and 1 vs the Yanks has helped renew
hope for the year and improved our world view.
We’ve taken 4 straight. We’re well overdue
for a long win streak. Hope we can accrue
more vs the Twins who are next in the queue.
So, with momentum, the Sox rendezvous
in Minnesota where they’ll try and hew
out some big wins for themselves, me, and you.
Let’s hope for water: not our waterloo.
There’s a playoff spot for us to pursue!

Wait a second, it’s the second half of June and Buxton isn’t out for the year yet? Hard to believe.

The Rockies didn't get into Atlanta until about 5am and had to play the Braves that night after their series in Boston. I know it sucks for the team, but it happens with every team.

On a brighter note, I understand that the City Connect unis are in the Twin Cities!

It's more important when it happens to the Red Sox.

A below .500 ALC winner would be pretty hilarious
I wonder if MLB realized that if you reduced games within the division, it reduced “automatic” wins, and make this much more likely, than otherwise? Or is it just part of the plan to have more teams “alive” in September?

The miracle of keeping him the hell out of the outfield.
It's crazy that he's a plus defensive CF but he has to DH for his health. I guess he's more valuable as a DH playing full-time than missing 2/3 of the season, but a plus defender in CF loses a ton of value DHing vs the typical bad defensive LF or 1B who DHs.

I’m so confused. The dad changed in that family. <from the ball incident yesterday>
