To be fair, the C's led by 18 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Bucks made it a two-point game. They have like 8 close games all season but somehow every one of them is an indictment. How dare they not have a 100% blowout rate.
that kind of swing happens all the time in today's NBA.To be fair, the C's led by 18 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Bucks made it a two-point game.
All the more reason not to really care about the outcome.Bucks clearly got up for it, Giannis or no
I was referring to the game being "nervewracking." This is playing with house money. I'm glad the Cs had a chance to work on a close game in the 4Q but the actual outcome doesn't matter. YMMV.why watch the games
Meh, took some one-sided officiating and a bunch of off the bounce threes to make it a game.To be fair, the C's led by 18 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Bucks made it a two-point game.
I watch the games because the outcome matters to me. it's a basketball game and I want my team to winAll the more reason not to really care about the outcome.

Sure but they were never a threat to win the game bc we limited the number of possessions in the game. As it was the Bucks had to catch fire to even be competitive down the stretch. To be fair, the C's led by 18 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Bucks made it a two-point game.
Nice!Good strategy by the Celtics to let the Bucks back in this one so their core players have less energy tomorrow night. Next level thinking there.
The 18 part is pretty siginificant. To be fair, the C's led by 18 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Bucks made it a two-point game.
Yeah, I thought MIL played pretty well and as noted upthread, it seemed like they were really up for this game. The Cs played well in spurts. But I think everyone knows that even with Giannis, there's a talent gap.Bucks were 45-84, with only 20 assists. It’s not like they were buzzing the ball around and putting the Cs in rotation. They just had a bunch good individual performances. Bucks hit everything and lost. Good for them.
Hauser was out too. He's become an important piece.JB's D on Dame was actually great especially towards the end. Tatum is a closer.
That KP board and put back was huge. This was a gutsy win against legit competition. And I know Giannis is out but so too is Jrue.
I was thinking about playoff minutes, in close contests, last night and if Al, Jrue, White and KP go 35 minutes a piece and JT/JB go 40 minutes a piece, that leaves 20 MPG for the rest of the fellas.Hauser was out too. He's become an important piece.
Totally agree. Every time they get a decent second half lead and start walking the ball up the court I know it's going to be close at the end. Just play with the same urgency until the horn sounds! The minute they started slowing down the offense, they get out if rhythm. When they push the pace, it's a different team.
I think Kornet's and Tillman's minutes will fluctuate significantly due to match-ups, but it feels like Hauser has made himself a key part of the rotation.I was thinking about playoff minutes, in close contests, last night and if Al, Jrue, White and KP go 35 minutes a piece and JT/JB go 40 minutes a piece, that leaves 20 MPG for the rest of the fellas.
I mentioned in the game thread that you could hear the slap through the TV.View attachment 79769
Great defense!
The ball never moved downward. Pretty amazing to get a clean slap on the ball and have it continue to travel upwards non-stop.I mentioned in the game thread that you could hear the slap through the TV.
OR he hit the ball so hard it bounced off the ground so fast the human eye couldn't see it.The ball never moved downward. Pretty amazing to get a clean slap on the ball and have it continue to travel upwards non-stop.
I think the key to the photo is the man staring right at it who isn't making the call. It's like mr Foster is put into any game that the NBA wants close. The ball never moved downward. Pretty amazing to get a clean slap on the ball and have it continue to travel upwards non-stop.
