I like Giolito. He's paying attention to what's happening on the field and cheering the team. Not just focused on his own interview.
I prefer this oneOk, I figured it out, the Phillies have a player with the last name "Schweckie" (SP?) and the Phillies have another player with the last name "Ball". No Shit. By some miracle of spring training lineups, we now have Schweckie hitting before Ball in the lineup. Thus, "Schweckie Balls" Will and Sweet Lou are in midseason form.
I thought he said David Hamilton got picked off. It's a little hard for me to follow on Sirius/XM b/c it buffers now and then and throws me off.Rafeala gets picked off at 2nd to end the 1st inning. Fundamentals!
That's what he said, and he was wrong.I thought he said David Hamilton got picked off. It's a little hard for me to follow on Sirius/XM b/c it buffers now and then and throws me off.
Pablo Reyes says "Hold my beer!"Rafeala gets picked off at 2nd to end the 1st inning. Fundamentals!
Unexpected, but. . .not bad.Whoa....Lumerloni doing p-b-p this inning.
Sounds like a college student doing a college baseball game. Not like a Venusian seeing his first baseball game.Unexpected, but. . .not bad.
Did Flemming get called back to the Morning Star?Sounds like a college student doing a college baseball game. Not like a Venusian seeing his first baseball game.
Wouldn't be the first time he failed to cover himself.McGuire is not covering himself in glory today.
And isn't it a relief not to hear the inanities both he and Flemming were mouthing yesterday? They are actually letting us know what's happening in the game. It's kind of fascinating, listening to Merloni adapt with that PBP cadence.
I think Joe Castig naturally brings the focus to the game. And, if all the reports of his kindness and generosity are true, then he will probably go the extra mile to help Lumer on the pbp side. And isn't it a relief not to hear the inanities both he and Flemming were mouthing yesterday? (left Sirius, using audacy, no more buffering)
Hamstring soreness. Hasn't played yet.Has Grissom not played yet?
Looks like control is not there for him today.Song warming up to get the 9th with a (currently) one run lead.
Lots of trouble...bases loaded....walks, wp, hbp.Song sitting 92-94 on the FB and having some trouble finding the plate.
They’ve just completely given upNats broadcast on NESN. Can't remember seeing that before.
If the choice is this or no broadcast at all, I'll take this every time. They’ve just completely given up
Meaning this is the world's most rambling and uninteresting interview, and they've given up on PBP?They’ve just completely given up
I think he means NESN is showing us the Nats broadcast.Meaning this is the world's most rambling and uninteresting interview, and they've given up on PBP?
And a lame broadcast it is. They can't be bothered to explain the action on the field and their dugout guest is a real yawner.I think he means NESN is showing us the Nats broadcast.
Mets. Hands down.I don't remember NESN just picking up and showing the opponents tv feed. Too bad it's the Nats. If it was the Met's feed or the Giant's feed (during regular season) it would be great. But these guys are awful. I thought Bob Carpenter did Natstown games. Did he retire?
If you could listen to the opponents feed instead of NESN during a Red Sox game who would you like?
Thank you, sir. Beautiful day shooting the shit with @Buck Showalter and a couple of guys in front of us.I'm glad you're enjoying the game.
