Not human,
Arrested for a felony at 6:00am, stretching in a jail cell hoping to make his tee time, shoots 66 in a major championship at 10:00 am.
Handled the media about as well as possible afterwards as well.
That officer power trip/looking for disability is an all-timer. Went to the hospital, pants ruined beyond repair...SNL skit stuff.
Why on earth did this nitwit try to attach himself to the vehicle anyway? Just get the plate or radio ahead if you are so concerned. Absolute clownshow behavior.
I appreciated that of all the times in the world a "Do you know who I am?!?!" would have probably been the right thing to do....Scottie didn't do it.

They jump on the car so they can then claim assault. 2nd degree felony assault, in fact.
Jumping on a car is one of the dumbest things you can do in all situations. There is not a single good thing that could happen to a human body in that circumstance.
I wonder if it’s more reactionary. Just indignant belligerence that anybody, even if making an honest mistake, could have the temerity to not follow his orders. The whole thing is so stupid, and could’ve easily been handled and settled without any arrest.
It’s simpler than that, no? These guys are all wannabe action heroes and that’s a classic action hero move - jumping on a car.

Scheffler is just not human. Shooting a 66 after that morning? I’m in awe.
What I loved about this situation (which is totally ridiculous) is that everyone seemed to have Scottie's back. The overall sense from everyone was that of all the people in the PGA, Scheffler is the last guy you'd ever imagine being involved in anything like this - he has that great of a reputation among his peers and everyone associated with the PGA. I like that he is well liked, adored even, and that everyone supported him. He seems like a legit truly good guy and it wasn't like, "Oh man how did a guy like that do something so terrible?" It was more like, "Oh man, this HAS to be a total misunderstanding because there's no way he'd ever do anything like that."
I’m surprised these guys drive themselves to tournaments. With that much money at stake, I think I’d get a car and zen out in the back.
Shane Lowry has a birdie putt on 18 for a 61. (It would also tie him for the lead.)

That ties for the best single round all time for any major. Did they say that?
Big swing moving Morikawa to the top after 15.
Scottie’s caddy (Ted Scott) was off the bag today for a family obligation (daughter’s high school graduation). This was planned in advance. Scottie apparently walks the talk when it comes to “family first”. Scott flew home Friday night and will be back for the final round.
Definitely could have had an impact on his score today.

This course is fine, I guess, but it would be a lot better suited as a regular tour stop than trying to be a major venue. It's just not good or tough enough.
He's in pretty good shape now for the birdie. Won't be easy, with tons of pressure, but he's in great position for a pitch and putt for the win.
Yep, 62 is the low record in a major. Xander dit it on Thursday too, for the 2nd time.
