Second day in a row someone in the Rahm/Cantlay group sent their second shot into the crowd behind 12 tee while the DJ group was on the tee.

Fitzy doesn't win a ton but he's an example of a guy who is always there in tough conditions.
He definitely wins occasionally in Europe but he has never won a PGA tour event. I am a huge Fitzy fan, seeing him win this weekend would be phenomenal.

Nike is certainly on the low end of golf course attire. Arnie must be turning over in his grave with some of these clown outfits.
The players don't have to wear that ugly stuff. I'm sure Nike will make something they want to wear.

Then again, they once made a Georgetown Hoya gray for the Syracuse men's hoops team to wear (and they did). It doesn't get worse than that.

Like wind is some obscure thing that only happens in Scotland and Ireland?

I don't get it. These guys are professional golfers and have all played 5000 rounds in their lives. They most likely have bounced up against the concept of wind.
And face it, you can't play Augusta like you would a links course in Scottland. Obviously it is very hilly, and there are a lot of holes you can't run the ball up onto the green. There are a lot of holes that you actually do have to hit it high and generally at the flag or you end up falling off one side of the green or maybe at time worse, being 70 feet away, with 2 large level changes, as well as a turn on your way to the green

You gotta think its only going to get tougher throughout the day. Anyone at +1 or better by the end of the day will be right in the thick of it.

Tomorrow improved slightly. 61 degrees.

Yeah, 50 guys at +4 right now.One of them drops a shot and the +5 guys get in. Probably will bounce back and forth for a bit.

Willett's upcoming shot at 10 is going to be wild. Don't know how it stayed up on the bank above the bunker/

Never seen that before.

(Swafford hits his second on 13 and the club head breaks off and flies into the creek. Ball lands on the green but has no spin from the club self-destructing, so it skips into the bunker.)

Big 4 hole stretch for Tiger. Seems to have settled down, picked up a birdie at 8. If he can get through the next 4 unscathed he might be able to pick up a shot or two on 13-18.

Thats a big ask given how hard 10 and especially 11 is playing. Also needs a good shot on 9 …

That was impressive. I think I broke the head off a wood on my first tee shot ever, as like a 7 year old. Needless to say i didn't hit it 250
