Defence, defence, defence. What a performance by the D.

Missing a lot of weapons but Wentz was held to lowest yards per play in his career:Entire D(0 points, 168 yards given up in 44 plays since 12:38 to go in the 2nd quarter)
Punt unit was outstanding
It must kill him knowing he's the second best athlete in his marriage
For sure. He’s incredibly frustrated.Anyone else catch a very dejected vibe from Brady in that postgame PC? Rare to see him that somber following a win. I think this offense's real inability to come together is wearing on him.
Then he remembers Wynn could be back next week...Anyone else catch a very dejected vibe from Brady in that postgame PC? Rare to see him that somber following a win. I think this offense's real inability to come together is wearing on him.

Of course. This isn’t atypical for Tom, and, honestly, why would he be thrilled? It’s not like he’s trying to kick the win over to the other sideline, and getting to nine wins isn’t turning anybody’s head in that building anyways.Anyone else catch a very dejected vibe from Brady in that postgame PC? Very understandable for him to be frustrated. It's a combination of inadequate weapons who keep getting hurt, banged up OL whose replacements are not good, and some mistakes by him. There has not been 1 game where they've had what they thought was their starting unit on the field healthy. To me, they are not doing a bad job for the most part at moving the ball but the biggest struggle to me is in the red zone. It has to be incredibly frustrating for now 2 years to constantly come up short in the red area considering how successful he's been in that area for the balance of his career. If they convert 2 of those first half opportunities in the red zone they win convincingly and the numbers look rosier.Anyone else catch a very dejected vibe from Brady in that postgame PC? I don't think the weapons are inadequate at all. I do think their injuries and the OL struggles are the issue.Very understandable for him to be frustrated. It's a combination of inadequate weapons who keep getting hurt,
Literally anything is an improvement on Newhouse. If Wynn can stay healthy, he's shown in albeit limited snaps that he's really good.I’ll say it again but man everyone is hanging a lot on a 2nd year player who has barely played in the NFL.
He's gonna post on twitter or IG tomorrow about the win and he's going to be happy and smiling. They haven't played a home game since Oct. 27. Maybe the boost from familiar surroundings will bring a bit of rejuvenation of spirit
He also played like a 42 year old today. He missed so many short passes and screens. He should be pissedThe amount of hits and pressure he’s facing every week has got to be wearing. I’m sure the plan this year was to be an extension of the playoffs last year. Run the ball, cut down on his drop backs, and keep him as fresh as possible for the homestretch. For a variety of reasons, none of them really anybody’s fault, that’s gone by the wayside. 42 is 42. He’s got to be feeling it more and more each week.
Biggest irritation for me is that they couldnt gain anything on 3 consecutive possessions in the 2nd half with great field position...then gained 30 yards when they were backed up against their goal line. 30 yards on ANY of the other possessions would have led to the critical field goal they needed.Very understandable for him to be frustrated. It's a championship defense though.Brady’s press conference was weird. They lost 5 games on the road last year. Road win is a road win. This game wasn’t much different from the Bills game.
I guess Brady was hoping that the bye week would change things and maybe he is just realizing that this maybe is what the offense is. He knows it isn’t a championship offense and I think he is worried that time is running out.
I'd love to see the historic rather than active numbers on this.
I agree, he was not good today at all. But I have to think, at least in part, that’s due to the cumulative effect of this sub par line, and trying to integrate a lot of different receivers on the fly this year.He also played like a 42 year old today. Why do you think they added Antonio Brown then Sanu after that? After Edelman, there isn't another WR that scares you. Dorsett is a nice 3rd or 4th option, but if he's the #2 then there's an issue. It's clear that Meyers hasn't entered the Circle of Trust yet. Harry just got back. The TE position has been a black hole so far due to injury and just plain not even implementing them into the game plan because they're not very good. That being said, they have enough to work with if the offensive line can play better.I'm not having it with the "no weapons" deal. He loves Dorsett (who I hope is ok). Jules is one of his favorite and best receivers ever. Sanu is pretty darned good. Watson is reliable (though obviously no Gronk). White is one of the best receiving backs in the NFL and one of the best Brady's ever played with. Michel and Burkhead are pretty solid.
The "no weapons" deal is a non-issue. The issue is an offensive line that can't seem to open any holes, and that seem to not be able to keep Brady clean. And frankly, Brady should be frustrated with himself too. He's made more godawful decisions and throws this year, especially in the red zone, than I can ever remember. I mean some of the worst decisions/throws of his career. So I'm sure that's some of it.
Meanwhile, he should be thanking God that he's got by far the best defense he's ever had on his team; if he had this offense with, say, the 2011 defense, this team would be getting wrecked.
