Horrible hit. Plenty of time to tackle him fair. Cooks runs off the field though.Cooks concussed. Pretty cheap by Seattle. But that's normal for them.
No flag on that. Wow.Cooks just got crushed. The definition of targeting nowadays.
He thinks he's still on the Saints right about now.Cooks just got murdered
Nothing like the college rule. No replay at all. It's either called, or it isn't.What’s the targeting rule in the NFL? Can the refs initiate a review on their own motion?
Presumably they ruled that he had two feet down and a football move, so he’s not defenseless. Still not sure why that’s not targeting. How the fuck was there no penalty on that hit on Cooks? Why aren't the announcers even mentioning it?
I mean, the easy line is "He still thinks he's hurdling players in the super bowl right about now."He thinks he's still on the Saints right about now.
Head to head, then an elbow thrown in.How the fuck was there no penalty on that hit on Cooks? Why aren't the announcers even mentioning it?
That's a separate rule. The new rule is you can't initiate forceful contact to the head/neck area of anyone basically. Runner or not. The only thing I can think of is if they thought Cooks lowered his head and initiated it, in which case it should be a penalty on him, but they never make the call on the offensive player.Presumably they ruled that he had two feet down and a football move, so he’s not defenseless. Still not sure why that’s not targeting.
The judges would accept either answer as being correct.I mean, the easy line is "He still thinks he's hurdling players in the super bowl right about now."
So the Panthers has no way to stop the clock on 4th down to get the FG kicker on the field.
Worse than SB ?Horrible hit. Plenty of time to tackle him fair. Cooks runs off the field though.
But at least they are having fun.Eagles can't get out of their own way
It's been all downhill since that Super Bowl win in week two.Jags just lost Corey Grant for the season with a Lisfranc injury. They're depleted at RB now with Fournette out for an extended period of time already. My how the mighty are going to fall.
Super Bowl Hangover and allIt's been all downhill since that Super Bowl win in week two.
It's actually kind of funny how the Jags acted after that game. It's been all downhill since that Super Bowl win in week two.
In fairness, they are a young team and they were up 20-10 in the AFCCG until the wheels fell off, so winning that game was good for them going forward. It's actually kind of funny how the Jags acted after that game.
You see, Twitter isn't all bad.Paul Gutierrez ESPN Staff Writer
Since the start of Super Bowl XLIX, teams have now thrown four times -- FOUR TIMES! -- at the 1-yard line with Marshawn Lynch on the field. Following Derek Carr's interception, those passers are 0-4 with 2 Int on those passes, per ESPN Stats & Information.
To be fair, nobody knew the old rules, either.Incomplete
But i dont know w the new rules
"Football move" = we'll make the game closer because this is the prime time matchup. Is the ref even watching how could he call that a catch?
