So many games I would rather watch than the Panthers/Giants probable snoozefest that I’m stuck with (as every week).

Usually stream red zone but I’m thinking I might go personal double box with Steelers/Falcons and Jags/Chiefs. The latter for playoff implications and the former because they might hit 100.

Is SNF the first really shitty prime time game this year? I feel like we’ve been lucky so far.

Some decent 1:00 PM AFC games today with Jacksonville at KC, Miami at Cincy and even Baltimore at Cleveland could be interesting.

My local CBS has Denver at the fucking Jets. Give me a break.

To the Reddit streams!

From a Patriots perspective, we should be rooting for KC beating Jacksonville. It would bring Jacksonville into a tie but still a 1 game lead because of the H2H. Then a win over KC next week would secure the tiebreaker while only being 1 game back.

Mahomes' weakness, IMO, is that he's always looking for the home run ball. As a result, he holds onto the ball for a step longer than most. I think if the Pats refuse to allow KC receivers' to get deep, and dare the Chiefs to throw short or run the ball, that's how you beat them. Maybe he holds it a second too long, and gets strip sacked, etc. Not much different from what the Pats did in the Miami game.

Totally agreed Death. Double Kelce, put Gilmore on Watkins to shut him down, and bracket Hill with JJones and Harmon way over the top(like 20 yards down the field) like they did with Moss in the game he came back to Foxboro with the Vikings. They also need to jam the shit out of Hill every time he's lined up outside and also Kelce to get their timing off. Keep them in front and tackle.

Baker Mayfield just threw a pick. Think the Ravens might teach the rookie a bit of a lesson today.

Did they think Mahomes needed a rushing TD on his resume? With all those other weapons, keep the QB healthy.

Edit, he had a rushing TD last week.

It's early in the season, but this would be the ideal situation, plus the Chiefs remaining schedule is harder than the Jaguars with the Rams, Ravens, Seahawks and Steelers among others still to go.

Mahomes has already been hit a few times by the Jags and seems to be gimpy. He's winced in pain in between plays and appears to be slightly limping.

Doesn't seem like anything serious but worth keeping an eye on.

So how much of this is Mahomes and how much is it the play calling and great Oline?

KC O started really hot last year as well, then people figured out the play calling.

Also, I still hate that Hill got a complete pass for being a terrible person, no one seems to care because he is fast.

Didn't the Patriots do that Shovel pass to the RB or WR years ago? Andy Reid did not invent it.
Goes way before that! Bug Bujkowski's Duluth Eskimos used it in 1927 to get it to a wingback.

The better known story is Utah's Jack Curtice in 1957 to beat Army, but that's not accurate in terms of its first history.

OBJ is such a loser. Trashes Eli all week and then drops a key 4th down pass and screws up a punt.

He’s been overrated since the day he made that one handed catch. Guy isn’t remotely close to brown or jones
