Yeah, Streelman was a monster in our format last season. For some reason, the fantasy "experts" all think he can't repeat. Of course, if he did, he should have been a top 5 pick.

Well if you go by the information from last year's spreadsheet, which admittedly seems incomplete (or my consolidation went wrong), then he was tied for 7th in scoring last year.

So, mea culpa, he should have been a top 10 pick.

Got folks walking in for a closing at my office right now.  Going to try and update my list, but probably won't be able to get a pick in for about an hour until they are done.

Uggh, got a few guys I like, but I'm going to stick with the guys that are playing a lot of golf, and seem to be hitting it well right now.  My second pick is CHARLES HOWELL III

Really going to be that long, or are you joking?  Just wondering because if you are going to pick soon, I'll hang at the office for a bit longer and then make my next pick, so I don't have to figure out something with Zomp via text.

Probably a reach here, but the guy came on strong at the end of last year, particularly in the playoffs.  Hope he can keep it going:  MATT JONES

Making a list 15 picks away is just sad, all I get to do is slowly cross names off.  I think CH3 is a great pick and was high on my list of wants.

His schedule and his consistency. 26th in scoring average while playing that many rounds is impressive. He could very easily win a couple of events.

Yeah I hated De Jonge on your team last year, which means he is a really good pick.  Guy is a work horse.

I thought about De Jonge a lot.  Dude plays every fucking week.

Well he was playing his way into the President's cup so we'll see how much he plays this year. The good news is he parlayed that motivation into a top 60 WGC ranking so he should be able to play whenever he wants.

Last 6 years he's played 30,31,30,32,29, and 28 tourneys.  It's what he does.

I should probably take a grinder who will churn out 20 cuts with a top 10 or two sprinkled in. But they're no fun. So fuck it, I'm going to swing for the fences and go for majors. In continuing my goal to obtain every member of the European Ryder Cup team, I'm going with...

IAN POULTER

He's a douche, and he plays a Stricker-like schedule in the US (and even hinted at dropping more events to concentrate on majors), but he's also the 13rd ranked player in the world. He's been in the top 10 in 4 of the last 8 majors. Maybe he gets one this year.

I thought long and hard about taking De Jonge over both CHIII and Matt Jones.  I was just about to pull the trigger on him when Jones hit my radar and I saw how he finished last year and went with him, but I love De Jonge's game.

I never really get the Douche sense of Poulter.

I LOVE the guy,  thought about taking him in the second just because I love rooting for him.  I'm sure he's not as nice a guy as Snedeker, but still he is just so awesome, and would have to be one of the best guys in sports to have a pint with

Sorry I was out last night and just woke up now. I gotta shake off this hangover and then figure out who I want. Pick to come within the hour.

Gonna continue the trend of picking guys who don't play as much but score well when they do. He's on the PGA Tour this year and is exempted into all the majors and WGC/Players events, so hopefully he decides to add a few more to his plate. Here's hoping he stays healthy and the recent wrist injury is minor.

I was absolutely prepared to take him this round.  The kid is qualified for all of the majors except the PGA (and he'll probably qualify for that easily) and at least two of the WBC events.  He's just a hell of a player and he's absolutely going to be a star in the US.

In short, die in a fire.

I thought he was qualified for the PGA? Either way, like you said he should make his way in.

Believe me, I feel like I'm dying this morning.

He was number 1 on my board of people still left so if it makes you feel better he would not have lasted to you.

I do like Matsuyama.    I don't like the fact that this was the last photo of him on a golf course, from a week ago.  Hopefully whatever the wrist injury is, doesn't linger all season, but I did medical DQ him.    I will be up with a pick at some point soon, we'll see how long it takes for me to decide
