Lefty is a good pick. I'm surprised he lasted this long, he (and Adam Scott) were the other 2 guys I considered taking. Phil's coming off a season where he easily could've been POTY. He'll be a threat at all 4 major's and is as sure a bet as any to play through to the Tour Championship. He also made 21 starts last year, which is higher than some of the elite players.

Tough choice. I think I was set to pick Justin Rose, but his recent injury spooked me. For Day, it seems like he is on an upward trajectory, and 21 starts and 21 cuts made is good. I'll take it.

Ugh,  Two years in a row my guy that I wanted was picked the very pick before mine.

I have 4 or 5 guys I could pick here, but after looking at their stats from last year I'm picking someone that wasn't on my radar until I looked at the top 10's...I actually texted The Four Peters that I wasn't going to pick him but 4 starts this year and 4 top 10s including a win means I'm taking WEBB SIMPSON

I think this is a great pick, he was my top choice if he fell to me.

Be prepared to be excited on Friday afternoons, only to be out of it before he even hits the back 9 on Saturday.  He drove me crazy last year.

I don't have the balls to choose a few guys I really like. I do, however, think this guy is due to win a bit more so I'm selecting HUNTER MAHAN

Some really good players available here, this was a really tough decision.

HENRIK STENSON

This is who I was going to pick before I chose Webb.  I suppose he could play more because he's playing well now, but we'll see.  I do think his game is for real and think he can be a top 5 or 6 player in the world.

He'll probably only play 17 or 18 events on the American tour again, but that's more than the 11 or 12 Stricker will play, and he is #3 in the world.

In his past 14 worldwide starts counted by the world ranking, Stenson has three wins, an incredible eight top-three finishes (including two in the most recent two majors) and 10 top-10s. For comparison's sake, in Woods' past 14 starts, he has three wins, six top-three finishes and eight top-10s.

I picked this guy last year in probably round 5 or 6 and enjoyed watching him week in and out. Plays a ton of events, has been working with Butch Harmon for the past two years and I hope he didn't win all his events for the year already, but 2 wins and 3 top 10's he is hot going into the full 2014 season. JIMMY WALKER

Round 3 last year.

There is one guy left who I think is an absolute steal at this point.

With the 17th pick in the 2014 PGA Tour fantasy draft, last year's runner-up selects one of his studs from a season ago from the University of Florida.....BILLY HORSCHEL...

hoping he keeps up the good work and his temper doesnt get in the way of his success...

I don't see any absolute anythings at this point. Yeah, there are several guys with very high upsides, but they all have their own question marks, whether they be shoulder tendinitis, less-than-full U.S. schedules, or coming off down years. Could Justin Rose, Sergio, Dufner, Watney, Bubba or Furyk put up huge results? Of course, but they each have issues.

No one knows what's going to happen.  But as I predict what I think will happen, one guy stands above the rest to me and I'd be happy to jump on him here.  I won't know if I'm right or wrong for awhile, but that doesn't change my rankings, or my opinion.

I agree with all those question marks but I also think we should try not to name people who have not been drafted yet. Someone may overlook a guy if a name is not mentioned.

So? When you have a fantasy football draft, do you demand that everyone hide the yahoo rankings on the left side of their screen? There is no answer key.

Still smarting about missing Haas, but will console myself with NICK WATNEY

(Note:  I'd rather console myself with Heidi, but will take what I can get.)

I'm trying to communicate with him now, he is pretty indisposed at the moment. Hope to have a pick up today for him at some point.

Sorry guys, I just had a baby yesterday. It's no excuse, I know, but in my defense I've spent the last day teaching her to swing a golf club.

I'm on mobile. I hope to have my pick in the next hour.

Congrats.

And make sure you have your second round pick ready, because that will be on you shortly.

This is one of the more legit excuses I could think of. Congrats.

You guys are too nice. It's not THAT good of an excuse. It's not like he was doing something important, like playing an Xbox marathon.

No matter what, I'm going to be happier this year because I like rooting for both of these guys.

But Fowler sucks.

Edit- He's decent, but bordering on falling out of the top 50 in the OWGR which could push him out of some majors and WGC's.
