I could look at spreadsheets, top 10 finishes from the past 5 years, scoring averages and any of the above for the next 20 hours and still not feel comfortable in a pick. I have even changed my pick since I typed that sentence. Nothing is a sure shot here, but I will give BRIAN STUARD a shot, he is off to a hot start, will play a ton of tournaments and is young with high upside.

Going to take a gamble on this pick but hopefully he can return to form. I'm taking LOUIS OOSTUIZEN. Please bold and capitalize. I hope he is good again. One of my favorite guys to cheer for

Been hanging out waiting for the promised pick, but I've got to get to other things.  I'll check back in an hour or so to see if ezemerson can shake off his hangover and get us restarted.

No need for the PM.  Just trying to spur movement from ezemerson...

Plays a shit-ton of events, makes a lot of cuts and is qualified to all the majors.

Great pick flawless, I couldn't pull the trigger last round but he was the one guy I wanted this round

Yeah, I had Points and Peterson on my board for this round and they both got taken right in front of me.  Feel like we're all looking at the same rankings sheet this year ...

I think so to, Points I almost took with my pick a few ago and had hoped he would drop a few more down to me. Looks like that never would have happened.

I picked Points, like Fowler, because I like rooting for him. He was also listed moderately high on a couple of lists I am following.(I got him 80th and many had him between 45-60, so it's a decent value) My team last year, outside of Laird, was impossible to root for. This year, I have three guys on my team who I really like and want to root for.

I was torn on my last pick between Stanley, Peterson and Morgan Hoffman. Good pick, he's had a good start to the year.

I will be choosing the remaining MORGAN HOFFMANN.  There is someone I really want, and there is a chance he lasts 30 more spots, we shall see.

I should take a grinder here, but I'm gonna take a flyer on a resurgence and hopefully a few more events for MARTIN KAYMER.

I like Kaymer a lot and strongly considered taking him with my last pick.  (The fact that he's qualified for all the majors is a plus.)  Then I remembered his absolute inability to play well on weekends last year and the fact that he can't wean himself from the European Tour and ... I just couldn't do it.

With all that said, I would not be surprised if he has a monster year.  He has serious talent - just needs to put it together for four rounds at a time.

I would be surprised. He's been unreliable for a few years now.

He made the cut in 14 of 17 PGA events last year, and has 3 top tens in his last 9 PGA events. I would be perfectly happy if I got the same production out of him this year as last (as a 4th round pick), but I think it's pretty reasonable to expect even better in his second year.

This has been agonizing. My heart wants to pick someone else who won't be there later but I just don't have the stones. I've been trying to talk myself out of him for like 30 minutes but i'm going with the apparently newly divorced but always an asshole "other Rory" RORY SABBATINI

Seriously though, just researching him made me fucking hate him. Now I just need one of you guys to tell me that a news story I missed broke and he's decided to fuck off to the South African tour or something.

Same here, I researched him to no end and just couldn't bold his name as he doesn't interest me in the slightest.

I *believe* I'm correct in saying that I'm taking the last first round golfer of last year.

Last year he sucked worse than my pick (Bubba), but if he can replicate 50% of 2012 I'll be happy.

The big problem is he stopped using an anchor putter, which he had used for over 15 years. He's missed 5 of 10 cuts since. Maybe he'll get used to it. Or maybe he's done.

EDIT: Looks like he may have gone back to it, actually.

FUCK CARL PETTERSON.  FUCK HIM HARD.

If I could have gotten basically any other first round pick besides him last year, I could have had a competitive team during the weeks that Stricker played last year.   IIRC, Petterson had exactly one week with more than the 1 "made cut" point.  If he even had that many.  I wouldn't have taken him with the last pick in the draft this year, no matter how much value he had.  I hope he defecates all over your team Zomp, just like he did to mine.
