These excessive celebration calls are an embarrassment. Ok, so Bryant twerks. That's maybe over the line. But the Panthers just did a quick, non offensive dance. And they got flagged.

There's no celebrating!

Josh McCown is the man, playing through a separated left shoulder and still looking good. I've loved this guy ever since the big game-winning drive for the Cardinals to knock the Vikings out of the playoffs in the final week of the 2003 season. Yes, that was 13 years ago.

How the fuck do you get 0 yards on 3rd and 28 from the fringes of FG range.

Maybe McCown isn't such a game manager.

And no good. Fuck.

I'm for unlimited dancing, but public flogging if you drop the ball on the 1-yard line to celebrate prematurely.

Well, the refs missed a blatant hold on the running back coming out of the backfield, so that might have had something to do with it. The bad news is McCown wasn't even looking at that RB.

Who cares? If the league outright banned all celebrations, would the game suffer? Are there really people who watch the games to watch Antionio Brown dance?

If McCown checks down, decent chance he gets that hold call. And if he finds a way to get 10 yards, they probably get 3 points.

Instead, he gambled. Dumbass.

And he's not talented enough (even when not injured) to get away with being a dumbass.

Game-manager skills require game-manager judgment. He didn't show it there.

You're saying a player cannot celebrate in any way? So Gronk can't spike the ball anymore?

In a game where a player's career could end at any point on a bad hit, it seems silly to aggressively police mundane, unoffensive dance celebrations.

I'm saying I couldn't give less of a shit, yes. If they banned spiking, I'd get along just fine. I realize I'm middle aged now, and get off my lawn, but it really adds nothing to the game to me, never has, and any efforts to limit the self-aggrandizing is the least of my complaints with the league.

Glad I resisted the temptation to pick up Mariota for my fantasy team this week. Not sure if it's coaching, or if he just isn't good at football.
Beginning to think Cousins is much worse. Throwing into quadruple coverage in the Red Zone?

Cousins had all the time in the world and an entire side of the field to work with, and throws it away to the Cowboys.

That's Cousins's Achilles heel. He'll always be susceptible to the INT.

He's like Testaverde, without the baggage of being the #1 overall pick out of college.

Half the team and part of the coaching staff were coordinated in the dance

Holy crap, McCown. That was a fucking pitiful decision on that lob to the end zone. You had 20+ seconds left and two open receivers who could have gained 15 easy yards.

If you think that's bad you should have seen what Stafford cooked up in Detroit!

As a Giants fan I had a mini heart attack thinking they were going to try and score a touchdown with 2 minutes left on the clock after the Cruz catch.

Then I remembered we fired coughlin...

What I wouldn't give to have this Colts-Broncos game end in a 0-0 tie...
