Was going to just ask what it might take to sign Lester now that the Sox are paying 22 million to a poor fielding SS who has never played left field to play left field. Seems like that may have been answered. Happy to have Lester back if he is indeed back.

The way I read it, Jake said that it was "accurate" that the Sox were putting finishing touches on 6yr $130-$140M deal, as reported by Chris Favoright............Where does seriously on the table come from, Jake?

Went from 95% two days ago.  By tomorrow he'll be saying what pretty much everyone else is: 50/50 shot between Boston and Chicago.

We heard a few more million bucks didn't matter to Jon, he just wanted a happy, good situation for him and his family. Apparently, he can be happy in places besides Boston.

If this is legit I would say this is the final offer. I can't see anyone going more than 145 that has a legit chance on Lester
