They should start thinking about fouling Gordon every time he touches the ball.  He shoots 41% from the line and he is like 3-13 during the tournament.

41 percent? That is mind-boggling bad. Arizona has gotten really lucky with some putbacks.

I'm sorry, Gordon shoots 42% for the year, and he was 2-10 coming into this game in the tourney.  He's 1-2 today. What is amazing is that he shoots 35% from 3 point land.

Good.  If Arizona had won the game, these refs should have been forced to have a press conference with a big screen tv, and explain exactly how they determined it went off a Wisconsin player.

I think the angle of the hands that came in and rotation probably had it off Wisconsin, but I'm not sure how they can say it was definitive.

When you have 2 seconds left in the game, you probably shouldn't take 3 dribbles to try to get an open shot.  What a fool.

It's the same crew that fucked up the end of the second Duke-Syracuse game and didn't see or ignored Roy Williams calling timeout last Sunday.  They aren't gonna get any better or figure it out.

Based on that last replay, I do think they got it right. But I also agree there should be a time limit. Maybe 2 minutes.

Umm yeah, they lost 5 of 6 in late January, but they won 29 out of their other 31 games?  I think you made the exact opposite point you were trying to make.  Basically, they are a great team that had a cold stretch.

Wisconsin beat Florida, Michigan and Michigan State this year.  I'm trying to figure out who exactly is a great team this season if they aren't one of them.

FWIW, while the refs absolutely sucked all night in this one, in the replay you could see the fingers of the Wisconsin player's left hand extending just beyond (above) the top of the Arizona player's head, and they were definitely the last appendages to touch the ball.

Like you, I was initially convinced the replay was inconclusive. But when CBS zoomed in on it, HDTV made it pretty evident to my eyes.

The bigger issue for me with instant replay is that such a call can come down to whether or not there's a broadcast engineer smart and skilled enough in the production truck to enhance the video in that fashion and give the officials a better look.

There aren't any great teams this year. Honestly, there were 16-20 teams that had a chance to win it all if they'd get got.

Florida is 35-2 with losses at Wisconsin and at UConn, 2 elite 8 teams (and 2 FF teams if UConn wins tomorrow). They also haven't lost in 4 months. How are they not a great team?

I think they are but the argument against them would be that the SEC was horrible besides Kentucky.

24-3 with Dawson in the lineup, they're another pretty great team when healthy.
