The NCAA should make it a 3 pointer if you can actually score in the paint. All outside shots should be worth 2.
Msu scored six points in the half court. 19 in transition. Only two of those at the rim. Rest were jump shots. Impressive.
Giffey needs to make those wide open threes. I don't recall him missing three straight when he had his feet set.

I would trade Gus Johnson for Raff in a heart beat. He's the only guy who gives me douche chills.
Everything I've heard about Raftery is that he is a total mensch and is basically a walking hoop historical almanac. Raftery adds color without overwhelming the action, as opposed to Gus Johnson, who makes himself and his reaction the story. Raftery knows his hoop better than almost any other color guy.johnmd20 said:

Verne is also too old to be doing this. I have no idea what he thinks just happened, why he thinks Napier just picked up a foul, or how UConn kept possession of the ball if that was the case.

I like Raftery, and his "send it in Jerome" call was historic....but his "man to man" growl is now played out and forced.
